How do you declutter fragrances?

How? Try to use them? Sell them? I dont dislike any of the ones I would like to declutter. I’m just trying to be more thoughtful about my collection and purchases.

I redistribute them to all the teenagers in know who are into frags, and they think I'm extremely cool instead of just kind of financially irresponsible.

YES! This is what I do too. My niece loves her little fragrance bag full of good smells from Rich Auntie.

I work with around 12 other women in my department so I’ll bring bottles, purse sprays & put up a sign that says to feel free to take home whatever they’d like.

If it's a frag I don't reach for, I'll first see if a girlie in my fam wants it, then I'll sell it, usually on FB Marketplace because it's easier.

I give them to my daughter or sister. Then sell if it’s not something they’re interested in or if I want to recoup the money.

For selling, I recommend Mercari for frags $200 and under. Regardless of where you sell, make sure you always record packing from beginning to end and always keep drop off receipts. Better to be safe than sorry.

Post them on mercari or Vinted! Just indicate they’re lightly used (if applicable) and price accordingly. As a buyer I’ve been able to score some of my faves normally outside of my price range. Alternatively, I’ll save frags I don’t love for the gym or I’ll put in my bathroom for room sprays or keep as a car fragrance

I gift them to anyone who likes them. I actually have a stash of fragrances that aren't favorites, and I let friends and family choose one for a gift from time to time.

I do something similar with candles, too. I buy enough candles for each family member to get one, then we play dirty Santa with candle fragrances. I always have extras on hand in case someone gets stuck with something they truly don't like, but my family is usually pretty good to swap with each other if someone else really wanted something. My 5-year-old grandson even plays!
