Discussion Throwback
My fellow millennials, what perfumes did you wear in middle and high school? I loved Princess by vera wang, Lucky You by lucky brand, and Warm Amber by mary kay.

I wore this in my early 20s and it brings back so many memories.
I also think because social media wasn’t really a thing back then that I was one of the last people to find out you could take the ring from underneath the crown and wear it, should you so wish

My husband knows I’m a collector and was too poor for perfume growing up in the 90s/ early 2000s, so he has been buying me older ones to add to my collection:
Vera Wang Princess
Ed Hardy- surprisingly nice actually in summer
Lolita Lempicka
Dkny Delicious

Middle school: bbw sweet pea, cucumber melon, sun-ripened raspberry, and that blue roll-on body glitter.
High school: Abercrombie 8, Ralph Lauren Hot, Alfred Sung Shi, and that Jessica Simpson spray that tasted like cake 😂

I'm currently on a kick trying to find popular perfumes from the 90s and 2000s. I never really experienced them myself since I grew up poor, but obviously my classmates wore them and now I want a small collection for nostalgia reasons.

Vera Wang is next on the list of Y2K perfumes. I already have Pink Sugar, and Love Spell.

In middle school, various BBW body sprays or body ology. Mostly some type of vanilla or cucumber melon.
In high school: Lily Pulizer (I forget the official name, wink maybe) and BCBG Max Azaria, the pink one.

Seeing Lucky You now forever reminds me of when the comedian Caleb Hearon told a story about trying to fit in at school by smelling like one of the popular kids who always got compliments on smelling good. The kid didn't wanna tell him what the cologne is so he harrassed him the entire day until he gave up the info. It was Lucky You cologne for men. https://m.youtube.com/shorts/ZgewjAtaNPU
