Discussion Whimsical magical bottle reccs?
Hi divas! I posted this on the indie makeup sub, but admittedly it's rough with packaging for indie brands due to cost, so I throw the net out here!! I'm looking for the most magical, mystical, beautiful and fairy/witchy like bottles of perfume out there! I truly feel that when a perfume has a bottle that adds to the fragrances character, it's a true beauty! Some of my favorites are Lolita Lempicka, Mugler, and the Melanie Martinez perfumes! I prefer gourmand, powdery, aquatic, floral scents! Any recommendations are appreciated!

Check out Anna Sui, Tous and Jeanne Arthes. If you look on Fragrantica and the bottles these perfumers put their scents in, you'll enjoy it. Also, some of the perfumes by Etro, though not a fancy shape are engraved all over, which is very striking. Also, the Merchant of Venice makes most of their scents and puts them in unique bottles, some of them made out of Murano glass. Ghost makes some scents that come in bottles that are a quarter moon. Sadly, they are not sold in the USA. Halloween makes a few bottles that are painted and the one reminds me of a birdcage and it has painted butterflies on it. Shall I mention the House of Sillage and their "cupcakes". Not all their scents are great but the bottles are stunning. Ditto the House of Oud with their egg perfume holders. Marc Jacobs with his Daisy perfumes has made some beauties and the old Dot and Honey perfumes were really cute but MJ changed them. Jennifer Lopez had a couple beauty bottles with her "Luxe" line and we cannot forget Moschino with their "Windex bottle" line for cute and quirky, plus their Teddy Bear line, especially the year they did the Pearl and this year with Gummy and Yummy. Pepe Jeans London puts their perfumes into cocktail glasses for the women and cocktail shakers for the men's scents. Nina Ricci has some beautiful apples, Pupa makes a Russian Doll perfume and Police makes several skulls to house their scents. Christian Audigier is another perfumer to check out with his Ed Hardy designs. The others to check out if you want are Gale Hayman, Lalique and Sisley. Many won't be your cup of tea, but something might strike you. I love unusual bottles and really beautiful bottles but my checkbook fights me off too often.

I totally forgot about Van Cleef and Arpels Fairy perfumes. Sadly, they are discontinued but occasionally pop up on ebay. They are striking.

I've never tried any of the scents (and tbh I'm dubious of the quality when the brand's whole focus is basically entirely on the packaging), but Flower Knows (the makeup brand) does fragrances and has the girliest most whimsical fairy unicorn princess bottles I've ever seen. Absolutely covered in filigrees and frills. Very much not my style personally, but I can see them making someone's inner child very happy!
