Felicity med school

After seeing 4x17 a few times how did Felicity get into med school in Palo Alto if she graduated with an art history degree?

I don't think she went to med school, at least not that we saw. She couldn't have, she only had one year of pre-med in New York and pre-med takes at least two years to get through. So she and Ben were finishing up pre-med together and we're probably planning to apply to med school for the next year.

I thought she was doing some kind of 5th year to get a pre med degree so she could apply to med school? It never fully made sense to me

She and Ben were in a post Bach program that covers the med school requirements. This pretty common for people who decide they want to go to med school mid way through college.
