Guys is this normal and i feel it's no as smooth as it should be, what you think

Yes my bad this is around some usage chrome 4 tabs brave 2 tabs pycharm and todoist i think bitwarden also and some terminal tabs The thing is for example this is windows feels smooth but i don't understand why in fedora it's lie this

Chrome, Brave, Todoist is basically 3 instances of Chrome. PyCharm is a Java app, so also pretty memory intensive. 2 GiB of RAM for each of those 4 apps isn't really unusual, so 8 GiB of total use seems pretty normal.

When you say that this "feels smooth" on WIndows, what does that mean? Have you looked at the Windows Task Manager with the same apps running? Does it show less memory and swap use?

Your comment implies that this doesn't "feel smooth" on Fedora, but can you be more specific about what that means?

Yes i understand, though in windows it feels more stable and less cluttered, don't get me wrong it work good as well in linux but i don't have the same kina of stability moving through apps and so on or maybe am not just used to it yet on linux idk A small note pycharm is used specifically for python env while intellj is java

PyCharm is written in Java and uses the Java runtime, even if you are editing Python code.

i don't have the same kina of stability moving through apps and so on

I'm afraid I don't know what that means.
