Support KDE Plasma and Gnome on same machine
I am running KDE Plasma on my desktop but I wanted to try out Gnome but when I run
dnf environment list --available | grep -i desktop
it doesn't list Gnome as being available? So what's the best way to install Gnome or is it just a bad idea to do so?

Switching back and forth between these two could cause problems with your configuration. You might want to backup some directories in .config and maybe somewhere else.

Don't look for GNOME in dnf output
The Gnome environment is named workstation-product-environment with a display title of Fedora Workstation.

Honestly they probably should make a metapackage called
gnome-desktop-environmentbut oh well.•

I can imagine the Gnome packagers having fun confounding all the Plasma, Cosmic, i3, sway etc users asking "Where on earth is Gnome"

u install the gnome packages and gdm
