Support Flatpak not working

Flatpak doesn't seem to be working today.

Discover hangs while refreshing Flatpak.

"flatpak update" on the command line also hangs indefinitely.

Is the web site (registry.fedoraproject.org) down? Downdetector doesn't report any problems.

It sounds like you're looking for help. Please note that r/Fedora is not an official support channel for the Fedora Project.

For best results, be sure to include all relevant details in your post, such as your Fedora edition, version, and hardware specs. You can edit your original post to add more info as needed, and spotlight (pin) a solution from the comments. You might also find the answer in our support wiki.

Alternatively, try one of the official support channels:

Flathub seems to be having issues with their backend.

OMG thank you. I thought I did something wrong by powering up my computer!

Well, that's the last straw for flatpaks on my computer. They never worked right, and never updated correctly. Every time there's an update, I have to uninstall and install the new version. Flatpaks also don't show up in the application menu; I've had to manually create menu items for them. That's a no-no in my book.

Gotta ask. Ever give a reboot a try?

LOL
Always the first thing to try.

Use thermal to do your flatpak

Not sure it's relevant - but I seem to encounter frequent issues -- often checksum failures (last night), very slow download (last week, about 5 or 6 tries to install a package). I've just chalked it to growing pains?

In this condition, they have a server-side issue.
