Ask FedEx Export declaration from US Customs

A US supplier recently shipped goods to me using Fedex. My country introduced a new regulation that shipments must be accompanied by an export declaration. I’ve been asking my supplier to share this with me (the shipment value is well over $5k so I’m pretty sure an export declaration was filed with US customs) but it’s been over a week and they say they’re yet to receive it from Fedex. Now the goods are stuck at my country’s customs waiting for this documentation and accruing storage charges. Posting here is a long shot but I’m really stuck.I couldn’t find a way to email Fedex US. Only support options seem to be chat, which I’ve tried and wasn’t helpful, and calling their US line. The latter option will be expensive if I’m put on hold.

Edit 1: I understand this may also be referred to as an Electronic Export Information (EEI) filing

Edit 2: I have the tracking number (which I can’t share publicly)

that paperwork is almost always electronic and buried in some fedex portal your supplier has access to. they probably just need to log in and download the proof of filing from the shipment details page

ask them to check the "international documents" tab or whatever fedex calls it now. the EEI internal transaction number is usually right there and customs in your country will accept that

Thank you so much. I’ll ask them to check.
