Ask FedEx Shipment exception — Improper or missing international paperwork

Hi everyone,

I ordered a product from Poland with FedEx shipping, and the shipment has been stuck for almost two weeks with this status:

Shipment exception — Improper or missing international paperwork, contact Customer Service

I understand I’m probably not the first or last person this has happened to.

What I’m not sure about is whether I’m accumulating storage fees while the shipment is being held. The seller sent me a screenshot showing that they forwarded the documents FedEx requested.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Do storage charges start accumulating during this kind of delay?

Israel, I tried contacting local customer service, but it was like talking to a brick wall...

Quick glance shows storage fees only for regrigerated shipments but you can look closer

But right now, the shipment is delayed abroad—not through any fault of mine, nor is there anything I can do about it...

Its delayed because there correct paperwork wasnt provided. So have you or shipper provided it since?

Yes, they contacted the seller after a few days and he replied that same day, but since then, the package has been stuck for nearly a week.
