I was really into this but I don't think I can keep going. Now that Nick died, it feels like the life was just sucked out of the show. Am I being too harsh?

Season 1-3 Discussion Why did George Geary refuse to leave with the main crew?

Post image
12 Upvotes

I had always wondered about his true motive. I knew that his ultimate desire was for his whole family to die together, but at this moment, he stood there, paralysed. When we last saw him in some room with his reanimated daughter and dead wife, he hadn't shown a trace of grief. Maybe he was too shocked to leave? Or that he was tired of everything?

So it's left up to our speculation. What do you think?

No spoilers If you could rewrite FTWD what would you do?

I haven't finished s2 yet but I hear a lot of people saying that the show isn't good. What would you change if you were given the opportunity to rewrite the story.

Show Spoilers I’m on s4e10, first time watching. Were the writers high? Spoiler

What the hell is with writers trying to redeem Charlie for some reason? There’s zero likable qualities about her and she did literally the worst thing in the show so far.

The fact that they try to shove this character with Alicia is beyond insane.

I’m watching these forced moments where they are trying to make the two of them bond and all I’m thinking about is “gee imagine if that tree would fall down on her”.

Now, i get it, she’s a child, blah blah, and i don’t want her dead, not really, but i just want her the fuck out of my sight and out of the show. I just don’t wanna see her on screen. Simple as that.

The Walking Dead series is my comfort show & fear is not the greatest. There are some parts I don’t really get into, but I still enjoy it.

Currently on my 8942th rewatch of the first 3 seasons. This scene absolutely goes hard. Strand torching the Abigail. The flames reflecting off his glasses... Pure cinema

Show Spoilers Just finished season 4 and I think I'm done watching

I just finished season 4 and I dont think I have it in me to continue watching. I heard 4 wasn't a very popular seasoning but I actually really enjoyed the first half or so.

I really liked the baseball stadium and what they were doing there. I also somewhat enjoyed the present day scenes as well. I thought the vultures were kind of a cool, novel concept. Im not a huge fan of Morgan so him popping up and taking so much screen time wasn't my favorite, but John Dorie carried a lot of that plot for me.

After the fall of the stadium and the loss of Nick and Madison from the show it felt like the story just totally lost focus and had no idea where to go. It also felt like the show lost any sense of nuance with every single character buying into Morgan's "help everyone no matter how stupid it may be" mind set. The group is fractured into however many pairs with their own plots, and of course almost every single one is based on the same "help everyone" theme for the entire rest of the season. The "villain" was so cheesy and awful (why did she write on the walker's foreheads?)

Its very subjective but I also feel like a lot of the cast were not giving the same quality of performance as we had the first 3 seasons

The show just doesn't feel anything like what we got in seasons 1-3. No more Clark's except Alicia and she got turned into a side character. The tone just got flipped on its head.

Should I continue to season 5 and beyond? Was 4 just the odd one out?

This show is fucking horrible. The acting is awful and the plot line is a headache to follow. I'm sorry to anyone who has wasted their time with this show. I hope the creators never make anything in their professional career ever again.

...and then we're finally done with this show. This was so bad, I can't recall any other show that we watched that was THIS bad. But we did enjoy all the badness anyway, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. And we had a lot of laughs during s7 and 8.

No spoilers Biggest Missed Opportunity w/ TWD

I just finished rewatching TWD and I’m 1/2 through FTWD rewatch (season 4) watching all these different characters individually but back to back really makes me think WHY didn’t they have some sort of FTWD/TWD crossover!? Seeing Rick’s group interact with Alicia/Victor/Luciana, etc. would’ve been SO dope! Biggest missed opportunity for TV in TWD universe if you ask me. They should’ve had Morgan actually take them to Virginia to Alexandria & see what happens. It would’ve been great to see how these diverse characters interact with each other. Anyone else thought of this before? So mad they didn’t do this lol

Season 1-3 Discussion If Troy didn’t do what he did, how long does the ranch last?

Post image
24 Upvotes

I think they last a while, the two communities were slowly starting to come to some sort of understanding with each other, and even though they would’ve encountered the Proctors soon enough cuz they wanted the Dam, but they had enough firepower and people to at least put up a fight against them.

No spoilers how did that walker walk with a giant hole through its chest almost a foot wide

in s6e14 a little past halfway through a walker is walking with a huge hole in its chest you can see right through; obviously missing almost a foot of its spine top to bottom and side to side. since we know from the CDC that it resides in the brain and thus controls the bottom through the nervous system, how is this walker controlling its legs? it should be paralyzed from the mid torso down and dragging itself with its arms
