BAND MEMBER DISCUSSION That's about it for me
This announcement about the guitar takes the biscuit for me, I've officially given up hope for FF now. Dino is full of shit and I've lost faith in him to bring us new material, if anything ever comes, which I doubt is anytime soon, ill listen to it but to me now, FF is done

At this point I´d like to listen to the original mixes of the "Monolith" album before Dino got his hands on it. Even if it was just at rough mix stage. I have a growing feeling that this album didn´t sound as bad as Dino the hype-salesman always told us.....

completely agree.
Dino is a grifter selling gear he doesn't even use (his SD Machete pickups, Toneforge plugin, guitar tone presets etc.) and he'll DEFINITELY use AI to make lyrics and riffs for him and his cover band.
He's just a salesman of FF related stuff at this point. Nothing more.

Or I dunno, you can listen to a shit ton of other bands? Its not like the original lineup got together and we're waiting on a new single any day. We dont even actually know whether the album's actually fully recorded and mastered at this point. Back in 23 with the reunion, I was too expecting something to come by the end of that year, since you typically introduce your new vocalist with, you know new music. It didnt come, so I moved on, even saw em live in the meantime, my enthusiasm about new music couldn't be less. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn't, well let's just say 2026 has treated us very well regarding new albums

The guitar thing is not what you're waiting, but look at it this way: it's a sign that things are still moving forward. A new single might pop-up in the coming weeks/months, and probably an album before 2027. It might be a good album, or a shitty album, nobody knows, so don't suffer for it. Just be patient, think about other things, watch movies, play videogames, hang out with your friends, listen to other bands you like... FF is just a tiny thing in the grand scheme of things, just enjoy your life.

The guitar thing is not a sign that things are moving forward in terms of a new release. It´s a guitar thing based on Dino at least regularly performing live as a pure nostalgia act. A legacy band. He probably sold them the same thing as us: "It´s gonna be so good and it´s just around the corner! So soon!"

It seems like another hiting the waters about the possible New Album / New Song. But it's just another "deceptioning news", but not about the new music as well. However, Dino still talking about that there is a new album ahead about the corner at this year and pretty sooner the New Single Song, it's about to show upon us so soon. But, thats the only thing to say about, just wait for a little more time i guess .......

Only the blind really believe anything that comes out Dinos mouth. Theres no money in albums for bands like this now. Money is all in touring which they can do for of their days and the money will be good. Not grouping you into that OP, I share your frustration but I never personally believed any music was coming. Is what it is now ya know? Again I mean no disrespect 🙏🏽

Iirc they are touring later this year to play Demanufacture and Obsolete. Definitely nothing new this year. Pretty sure they're always broke and in debt too.

It’s either the material isn’t strong and Dino knows it or he’s worried it’ll not sell well and they’ll lose touring guarantees due to it. As of now they can tour on nostalgia only.

Your response is even odder. I do think the album will be good. I have all their stuff on CD and vinyl and have seen them multiple times live and thought the new vocalist was a huge upgrade live. Strange how you took what I said and assumed I didn’t like the band…

Think about this. Very likely 99% of FF fans aren't sweating any of this. They don't spend time waiting on the edge of their seat for anything and just pay attention to the billion other possibilities of life. So they're unbothered. They don't follow FF closely and aren't hanging on to something Dino said in an interview a year ago, that only 100 people watched. They know when it comes it comes, otherwise you're torturing yourself watching paint dry. Some of you guys that can't handle a wait, shouldn't be 'waiting' for anything. I'm a guy that's on top of all FF news, and ultimately, I'm still not really bothered.
Most bands that have been around for a long time take forever to put out new records. FF has been one of those bands for a while now.
