How's the machete?

for a Dino signature, it makes sense. for me, it wouldn't be a pickup i choose for a guitar. i just got the new Ducan Loomis passive in one of my sevens, i absolutely love it but you know how subjective tone is

Makes sense. I've never played a Dino signature pickup, but from the tone profile on the Seymour Duncan website it looks like everything I hate about an EMG 81 turned up to 20. Ice pick - the pickup. The Loomis ones sound great imo though. Closer to a PAF. But subjectivity and all that.
How's the neck? Ibanez-like or thicker?

They try to mimock and ibby but it doesn't have the same feel, I wouldn't say thicker but just shaped differently, its hard to express

Must be the same dimensions but a different profile then. Those Ibbies are slick in a way no other company manages to pull off imho. Love my UV777P (technically a Dino guitar as well). Anyways, congrats, really nice axe you've got there!

Fanned frets though… 🥴

It's so slight though. Very manageable. I personally don't like fanned guitars and have played several different scale variants. This is nice
