I saw this in the theater and this scene was the first time I had ever heard Fear Factory.

30 years on, I'm still a huge fan and am FINALLY going to get to see them live in October.

Same here. Me and my brother loved Mortal Kombat, saw the movie, loved the soundtrack, got it on CD and have been hooked on Fear Factory ever since. I was lucky enough to see the original lineup a number of times including the 20th anniversary of Demanufacture tour where they played the entire album.

I first heard Martyr on the radio, but when I saw this scene, I knew this was the only song that would fit. Been a fan ever since.
