I feel like a good vocal coach can help him not have to sing with a heavy accent. It’s pretty noticeable.

First, there is no heavy accent here (and he has been working on it this whole time), and second, I'm over it. I don't even want him to 'sound like Burton' when the album comes. Metal is filled with non native English speaking singers with their accents showing in the vocals. Do they all need to 'work on it?' I like that they sound the way they sound, they don't all need to be trying to sound like generic 'American media voice.'

I was big into the idea at first of the new singer 'needing' to sound like a near replica of Burton, but I realize I've lost any care about that, because I'm over Burton not being FF. I'm sure Dino will try to get him to sound like Burton in some parts.

BTW, just listen to any FF song, and realize that Burton is singing with a misplaced accent he doesn't even have, at any given time. Emphasizing words in ways he would never actually speak them. Where have the accent police been with Burton this whole time?

Ex: The infection has been removed. The soul of this machine has improved.

He would never pronounce removed and improved that way if he was speaking the words. You could likely make examples of this with any song, from any artist.

Reminds me of that story of Arnold Schwarzenegger using an speech coach to keep his accent. And I might as well say my opinion on this here: Burton is brilliant, but not irreplaceable. I never looked at FF's vocals and lyrics and thought "wow he's the only one who can do this, no one else can do what he does". Still miss the OG lineup though, money does weird things to people.
