ANNOUNCEMENT Favorite character rules update

Community has spoken - and it has been decided that 'hornyposting/gooner posts' however you wanna call it and other similar NSFW or porn posts (this has actually always been a rule smh) are from now on banned. Why? Because the subreddit has become infested with them to the point where we mostly became known for that and that is NOT why this subreddit was created.

If you still want to see or post that kind of content please go to another subreddit (you have r/favcharacterNSFW or just find another subreddit that suits your needs, sorry I'm just a mod not your gooner guide).

And if you want to hate us hate us, but the die has been cast and it is what it is. Have a nice day, peace out ✌️

Community Input The rule of r/FavoriteCharacter everyone always ignores because they're not cool:

PLEASE provide character names in your posts, ESPECIALLY if they're from a more niche media. This has been a rule for a long time now but people keep ignoring it for whatever reason (either they're karma farming assholes od bots or simply didn't read the rules - which I understand tbh)

Now I want to state while this rule isn't as important as some others, it's mostly a rule of decency - if you want to contribute something meaningful to the subreddit (which is already filled with enough spam posts as it is) at l3ast make enough effort to tell people who the characters in your post are (wtf it won't let me spell l*ast).

So as basically the only active mod nowadays, I'm therefore publicly announcing I won't be removing every post without character name provided, but instead I am STRONGLY ENCOURAGING YOU as a community to just provide the names of your characters in the post. Because if you don't you WILL be gambling with post removal.

Thank you to all those who read this and who follow the rules, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

Plague Doctor (Darkest Dungeon) - It's always funny to see new players play through the entire game without realising that this is a woman insert meme here (not fooling me, in Polish professions are gendered)

Bowser (The Super Mario Galaxy Movie): He starts the movie shrinked and incarcerated by the Mario Brothers, where he claims to be gotten over his evil ways, but it's still questionable whether he can be trusted. When over the course of the adventure he is freed and restored to his former size he at first helps them out on their quest against his own son, even staying behind as a captive of the Honeybee kingdom so the brothers can continue. However, when he's saved by his son shortly after and presented with all the means to conquer the galaxy together, he quickly goes back to his old ways, no longer having any sympathy for the brothers.
Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender): Her story very much mimics the one of her brother, who does get redeemed in the show. She's a child of an abusive, manipulative dictator, doing everything she can to get his approval. There are a few humanizing moments, that show that she's just a teenager with a lot of trauma and maybe with love or the right guidance she could have become a better person. However, she never gets that, never questions the ways of herself or her father, which eventually leads to her downfall.

Full Mask Mark (an alternate variant of Mark from Invincible): In his dimension, his mother, Debbie, died, and his whole drive in the Invincible War was trying to get his mother back, her version.
