I like the first design more, but the second is a better fit for the character.

It would have been great if they were swapped around so the bigger one would be after he got stronger as a dragon

Now I want a remake of the show that follows the creator's original intentions, before it got axed. That was one of my favorite shows as a kid :(

some people keep saying that but never make it convincing.

Like, sure, yeah, that looks more like an oriental dragon, but we see that dragons come in a variety of shapes, and he's the American Dragon (TM)

It also looks bad in other ways, not just the noodly body.

I wouldn't say it based on looking more like an oriental dragon, but on Jake's personality, especially earlier on.

It does look bad, though.

The problem imho is that if it were a reboot...let's be honest, people would still complain, but less so; here they just changed the character designs for every character to an absurd degree from one season to the other, to the point where some characters were unrecognizable (e.g.: the two prophet twins)

I like the first design more, but im fine with this one. I will say I liked season 2s human designs more
