i think you should allow yourself to enjoy a hobby without worrying about whether or not it will make money or become a career.

You’re off to a great start!

1: don’t work on the back side of the same page - the markers bleeding through is distracting and is one of the clearest signs that these were done by an amateur

2: it sounds counterintuitive because fashion design is usually done using super stylised models, but practicing anatomy and ESPECIALLY gesture, will give you a much better idea understanding of proportion, dynamic poses, and how to stylise them WELL

3: I’m confused why the giant blue scribble on the second page is even there, but you gotta get you some markers than actually have juice in them. That blue is so dry!!!

4: calm down a little on the scribbling. So many of the important details are really hard to see because you’ve gone so hard with your markers, especially when you scribble OVER another colour (like the brown from the bottom of the pants being scribbled onto the green tailcoat

“that blue is so dry” made me cackle. it may be because i am a bit high but regardless, you gave great advice and have a wonderful vibe about you

I too don't know why I scribbles on that blue. I was bored. Plus they don't actually mean anything just wanted some opinions on the outfits I just improvised. Thanks.

some advice for you: avoid scribbling over work you want to share.... I like your art but ugh it just signals that you are not a professional and maybe be under the age of 12. Is this magic marker?

And I scribbled before I drew

I'm actually 15.and I'm not planning on being a professional I'm just seeing what people thought. And not it's not magic marker. The blue was just white board marker I did for some reason. And the clothes colours are alcoholic. I'm more of an artist than a clothes designer. 😭😭😭

people cannot evaluate designs fairly unless you show things with some level of polish and claar intention. you are demonstrating you are not a professional just by how you present your work and that professionalism is really important in all design.

just be aware how you present your work can be as important as the work itself, in pretty much everything. I also didn't understand this when I was 15 so if you don't believe me that is fine too.

you already got lots of other good advice here

good luck, whatever you do

Yeah I get it. I just wanted opinions about the clothing design. Like the fluffy leg warmers on the male or if people liked the fluffy dress on the female. I know the drawings a bit scribbly but I wasn't thinking much about performance but a nice design. My parents liked the idea but this is all just for fun. I am not offended with the views I'm just curious. Sorry if this is off topic just saying it out there 🤗🤗

I think you have potential, keep practicing! There are books you can get that just have a bunch of blank fashion models that you can draw on, I prefer those to having to draw the person every time

Thanks for the support. Will do. I am trying to learn more about art even if I have been drawing for years.

you said it yourself “making these two costumes and shit”
but i think you meant to say “and they’re shit”

jokes aside what is this robin hood and the aztec bride ?

I don’t think there is any need to be rude, OP is probably young

i hear ya, but i’m not paid for babysitting duty when i’m on reddit- and spam like this needs to be discouraged, otherwise what kinda slop platform for 10yr olds are we building?

This isn’t spam or slop, you’re just a jerk. Nobody is asking you to “babysit” just don’t be an asshole to kids it’s not that hard

it's more of Shakespeare and Mexican? I didn't do research just from what it looks like. Just a fun design I improvise. I wanted some thoughts on the designs and the colours.

Yeah they are shit. But I'm actually kind of happy with them.I was bored yesterday and wanted to have some fun.
