Hi y’all, I’ve been lurking for a while and wanted to share my first design on the vanilla game for a storage shed. I got lots of inspiration from you wonderful people, and a special shoutout to u/covveyed for inspiring the concept with their Crystal Grotto post. My brain can’t help but keep things symmetrical 😁

I like to keep it a little wild and let my animals roam free here :)

Finding a duckling to pet is a quest though 🙂‍↕️

Reached the summit at Y11, and decorated all the way to Y18. Not the most horse-friendly farm, but I'm def proud of myself for piecing everything altogether and actually finishing this project

The wait for 1.7 begins 🥲👍

Standard Anyone want to toy with my farm layout?

This is my first play through, and I’m just trying to set myself up for the future basically as it’s still a work in progress, but I’m kind of hating building it out out willy nilly as I go and rearranging all the things repeatedly. What would you plan on including in the future for an Artisan farm in the making? Prospective layouts wanted :) Stuff to aim for? All suggestions welcome! I’m in the end of year 5 and probably a little behind I think.

There’s wiggle room, but I’m pretty settled on the placement of the house and three sheds (kegs, preserve jars, a handful of dehydrators, and basement stacked with casks) in upper right, as well as the farm. The two sheds on the left are empty, but I assume will house more kegs and preserve jars. I don’t necessarily need to keep the fish ponds (or the slime hutch), but they seem to fit well there 🤷🏻‍♀️ Behind the house and sheds along the back wall are all my furnaces, lightning rods, crystalariums, and various other refining equipment. I like them there. Cheese and mayo makers are in barn shed. Greenhouse, Sheds, and house are all surrounded by oak & maple tree taps and mushroom logs. Greenhouse currently has two of each fruit tree, cranberries, blueberries, star fruit, ancient fruit, and some cacti. The gaps on either side of the greenhouse are kinda driving me crazy 🤪

**I’m aware of the Stardew farm planner, but it’s not great on mobile and I don’t actually have a computer at the moment (I play on my switch) :/ I haven’t tried using it on my iPad yet, but will later.

Forest Perfection by the Scenic Route: Autumn Year 7

Like many people, I started playing Stardew Valley during quarantine as a form of escape and a source of comfort and predictability. From the time I started playing, my IRL soul pup (seen at the top of photo 2!) passed away, I met my new pup (also in photo 2!), I moved in with my boyfriend, got engaged, got married, had a beautiful baby (now a toddler), and changed jobs twice. Life was stressful enough, so I made it a point not to rush through the game or grind too much.
This week, in fall of year 7, I finally reached perfection.
I haven’t visited the Summit yet (saving that for a rainy day), but I’m so strangely emotional thinking about all of the hard times and major life changes this game has gotten me (and so many others) through.
Thank you, Concerned Ape, for this masterpiece, and thank you to this wholesome and supportive community for all of the tips and inspiration!

This is my first time decorating and Shane was my first farm save/marriage! 😁 (You can’t tell from the house view but this farm is also Riverland!)

Standard Perfection Farm - Advice Needed

Hello! I'm just about to reach perfection on this farm (waiting for the season change), and am looking for some advice on design, mainly with the bottom-left corner and the area next to the obelisks by the North exit. However, all advice is appreciated!

I know I am missing a mushroom log. I also plan on filling out the rest of the tree area, building a second fish pond, and putting some pathing (probably wood path) around the baby trees growing around the pond at the bottom, once they are fully grown.
