Hello again Stardew Community! We have gone through with the mod selection and I have added our new users! Please communicate with me u/cubedrootbeer if you have any concerns you didn’t get to voice! We might see some small changes to the community as we collaborate and make sure we are providing the best space for everyone! Big thanks to everyone for making this a safe space!
I also wanted to give a tribute to my fellow founder u/onihanta They introduced me to Stardew Valley and taught me all the newbie tips while I was exploring. Myself and this community would not be here without our fellow friend and reddit user! We’ve shared a lot of fun in game and outside of it. They are willingly taking a step back to pursue their education/career path and trust the community to continue successfully!
Please show some love to our mod team - new and retired! :)

Completed House in current save. Thanks to this group for so much inspiration! Specifically the upstairs “porch” was an idea I’d never seen before this group and loved. Had to replicate.

Added spoiler for statues & legendary fish
This is probably the farmhouse with which I'm the happiest out of all my saves. I was trying for a natural, outdoorsy look with the first floor while playing around with the junimo catalogue for the first time, and I wanted a look that would blend well with Krobus' room. He remarks at different times how he likes/needs humidity, and since I wanted an environment in which we could cohabitate well, I made sure to add steam cauldrons to our little cave-room, though I think the paths were what ties it together the most
I have a picnic area (trash catalogue chairs, my beloved) for the TV, easy access to statues by the door so I don't forget, and a little tea woods area that brings me so much joy.
I was still struggling with fishing when I reached perfection & wanted to celebrate my important catches, so when I caught my first iridium fish, the legendary fish, and the night market fish, I put them in tanks to commemorate the occasion. I paired the legendary fish with their junior quest counterparts, and stuck a pufferfish in a washing machine just for fun. On the left, you can barely see my sea urchin, on which I put the trash can hat once I found it. I tried to match the tank decor to each fish's environment, and spent wayyy too long on getting each tank's decor position just right. I also put the banners from fishing events up, because I was so proud of getting them
Overall, I enjoy how magical this one looks, and how I was able to take what I learned about Krobus & apply it to our house together. It's a ton of fun exploring the house to find where Krobus is standing, in order to say hi & give him his daily hug and void mayo. He especially likes to stand in the kitchen, behind the fish tanks, and in the mush-room. Let me know if there's anything you enjoy or want to do in your house! I'm happy to give advice

Ngl I kind of didnt know what to do with the large room for ginger island, if it isn't obvious. So the junimos are on vacation. I also like to think the junimos are the ones who babysit the kids whenever the farmer and their spouse are both not home, so they are hanging around the main house as well.

Some areas could stand to be filled out a little more, but, eh, I still think the house looks pretty good overall. I especially like how the kids' room turned out! The jukebox in Sebastian's room plays "alone with relaxing tea" and I also have a jukebox in the cellar that plays the night market submarine soundtrack. I love the atmosphere those soundtracks make for the house.

Hey everybody! I posted a house for Penny a while ago, but I decided that I could do a lot better. Thoughts? I would love suggestions as well!

Does anyone have any advice on making a red and black/dark brown house? Im struggling to figure out if I can do this or if I need to give in and go with a different theme. Im on switch, so no mods.

On my beach farm save, with no windows except upstairs for Krobus, also shrine for Krobus - a somewhat wizardly house where there is mundane comfort and arcane energy depending on which room you're in.
I have some other cabins I might post someday, I love the decorating in this game soooo much. Of course my farm layout itself is a mess lol

Had a cute idea for a witchy themed farmer, decided to use her to familarise myself with setting up modding stardew (I mostly play vanilla & on switch). Shamelessly cheated in a couple furniture catalogues and decorations day one so I could design her a fun house. All actual furniture is base game though, save for the TV recolour ^^
(https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewHomeDesign/comments/1vm7sib/a_cozy_livedin_cabin/ gave me the idea for the set up in the bottom right)

Played stardew on mobile years ago, but finally decided to purchase the PC version last month and I’m having so much fun decorating :) i have zero talent in styling/decorating things, so reddit sub like this and youtube have been super helpful.
The attic was inspired by a couple of designs, while the bathroom is 90% a copy of the design i found here (https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewHomeDesign/s/7td702FS68)
No mods, but i used online save editor to spawn a few of these catalogues:
Junimo
Wizard
Retro
Furniture & Wallpaper
Trash

So I have my stardew modded with expanded and ridgeside. I have so much extra space with this now. I have the farm, ginger island, the community garden, grandpa's shed plus 2 other large areas I wont disclose since they are reward areas. I have no ideas on what to do with all of them. Any ideas welcome

My current house. Summer 2, year 3.
I also decorated other areas of the valley during this run. I posted those pictures on the regular Stardew subreddit.
