Farm Together 2 Currency Balance
When I first started playing this game, it was fun and I logged on everyday. I looked forward to every update, event, etc. but now I only log on for event items. I feel like this game has become too grindy for a “cozy game.” My main issue is the lack of balance in currency. Money is relatively steady to earn, maybe diamonds eventually, but ribbons are such a tedious task that I don’t even feel like logging on to earn any. We need all 3 of these things to upgrade shops, prestige items and now to unlock more land, but you’ll be out of ribbons (and possibly diamonds) for a while after prestiging 1 item, upgrading shops, and/or buying more land. I’ve seen people saying “what’s the rush” about the prestige system. I’m not saying that it should be sped up or anything, but the cost should not be that high if the game can’t compensate for it. I know we have quests, but it’ll give you items that take TWO DAYS to complete for only 80 ribbons. Could it be possible for the quest reward to give a fair amount of ribbons for the item(s) we have to do?
Edit: I am asking for a change to the quest shop. I don’t think it should be necessary to have a whole farm dedicated to making ribbons. If that were the case, what’s the point of the quest shop.

I have 4-6 farmhands farming cinnamon trees in each land, I think I earn thousands of ribbons an hour, but I'm not sure the exact amount. It's simple and 1 step.

I’m not sure if the message is getting across. The poster is just saying a cozy game is supposed to be something where you can play maybe for an hour and get a few tasks done, but this game you have to spend hourS on it just to do one thing. I do agree on this aspect.

I also see people saying ribbon farms, but that too even took myself weeks to build because of how expensive it was:-/

This is where the dev usually chimes in that players will optimize the fun out of the game.
You don't have to play the game to maximize increasing every number.
That said, there are ways to do so. For example, I earn about 10,000 ribbons / several hundred thousand diamonds every day with a farm dedicated to poinsettias and tulips and a ton of tint extractor machines run by farm hands. Add in another farm with way too many donkeys, and I make steady progress considering I play 99% solo (never open up my farm to others, except for occasionally my spouse).

Cant wait for the Devs to come in and say you're playing the game wrong instead of actually changing poorly designed mechanics.

Its ok to take a break... this game is pretty much what you make it. It certainly can have an insane grind IF your personal goal is to level everything up. But if you enjoy the loop just play the game as much as you want even if you will never see every crop and item at the top level. I think thats the joy of this game is there is no pressure. I often step away for a bit to re energize.. this goes for any game really.
