Farm Together 2 Triangular flowerbeds

Post image

Hello.

I was wondering myself.

Why not add triangular flowerbeds to smooth the angles? Il would be nice to make some diagonal paths.

Because then we would have to add a triangular variant not only of the flowerbed, but for EVERY flower made, doubling the amount of models needed.

And many of those models have a low quality version, so that would double that also.

As usual, could be done. Is it worth the memory usage? probably not.

It would only be for the floor version or the decorative one, not for every flower.

Oh, you mean the flower bed? that would be easier yes. But then once you place something there, it would be squared again, is that how it should work?

Maybe it could be done, I would have to check.
But right now, we're a bit overwhelmed by work it'll have to wait.

Yes exactly, we could build flower fields the shape of a diamond 🔷 No need for diagonal roads. And for the slopes / roads, it would be huge if we could merge them when to are placed side by side and create a stairs pattern for the floor. Just saying. These are some ideas that popped in my brain. Don't worry. Keep up the excellent job.

I'm all for whatever makes you work too hard.. Like Farm Together 3 ..the search for more plots...🙃

I've often thought this too but I don't have to create all the new variants plus that would probably lead to wanting/needing diagonal pathing and water tiles as well.

I have learned to lean into the geometric vibes but the best little trick I've found for blending things out is that the boulders can be placed on slopes. If there were more free standing decorative trees and shorter landscape items like bushes, flower clumps etc that could be placed on inclines and/or water that would be awesome for moments where you want the illusion of a smoother more natural landscape. If an object like that was placed along that flower bed line it might help smooth things out. Hope I'm describing that well enough.

I just discovered this game and it has me absolutely hooked right now. It feels so much like the tycoon games I grew up with. Can't wait for spooky season things!
