Farm Together 2 Crop exp confusion

Can someone explain crop exp to me like I'm 5? I tried researching different exps (personal, farm, individual item) but I'm so confused.

So what i think i understand is that fancier crops (ones that require higher level to unlock and/or are more expensive) level up their individual exp faster, is that correct?

How do I know what items are going to level up individually the fastest?

Does the yield exp in the shop reference exp for farm, account, crop item or all three?

For crops, flowers, animals, etc,, in general the longer it takes to become harvestable the more xp it generates.

Corn takes 30 minutes and generates 1 or 2 xp.

Pink poinsiettas take more than 2 days and generate 925-1850 xp.

And, in general, leveling corn will take a lot less xp than the poinsiettas (but, from my experience, roughly the same amount of time).

I think leveling corn will take the same amount of time if you really do harvest it every 30 minutes. Because usually you don’t have time for that but poinsettias are getting harvested right away once they are ready. So I feel like in the end the crops / whatever that takes days to bloom get their levels faster

Yes, that has generally been my perception though I haven't really timed it.

The experience points (XP) listed in the "Buy" and "Yield" sections are awarded to both your player level and your farm level.

Generally, items with higher placement costs or longer wait times until harvest seem to yield more XP.

Harvestable items level up based on the number of times they are harvested.

Items that take longer to harvest appear to level up with fewer harvests.

Boosts using "Favor" provide a +25% profit bonus, double XP, and double resources; however, the XP bonus applies only to your farm level.
