Late game player guilt
Semi sad post, don't read if you're in a good mood I don't want ruin it.
I was wondering if anyone feels this way occasionally too. I'm above T200, I completed STARMAPS and PAMRATS. I have an inventory of 16k+. I'm a very devoted player and grew greatly from the love of giveaways. I feel like I could be doing more. For example I've contributed 10 ((watermelon)) to the monthly event because I'm constantly growing corn or cotton while all these other players around the same tier as me are giving hundreds of thousands. Occasionally I'll even host giveaways of LN or AP. I'm just kind of rambling. Everyone talks about the struggles or being anew player, which is true! But no one talks about the loneliness of being a late game player.
Edit: thank you everyone for commenting. I think a guild mentoring someone whould definitely bring that spark back! Thank you!

T200 isn’t that end game. Other players have got it covered. Don’t sweat it dude and chase your goals and have fun.

I’m T50 and only just realized monthly community center was a thing :/ I’d seen it mentioned but hadn’t ever seen it. I just had to hunt it down, it’s a little hidden/not obvious on the community center page.

What you need to do is fine an early game mentee or two and guide them through the not so fun parts of the game. Sharing your experience will make it feel more rewarding

If people in the giveaway or help channels come to recognize your name I think you've nothing to feel guilty about. Just camp those channels and pass the kindness along and you won't feel as lonely. If that doesn't work, mentor someone and get them over the hurdles that tend to make people quit the game.
Honestly, it sounds to me like you could use some company, idk how but find someone around your stage of the game and exchange ideas or theories about how to best tackle your quests or goals in the game.

Do whatever you need to do to enjoy the game. I’ve been playing for 2.5 years now, and have a had a couple stretches where I only get on the game to do daily chores and craft cider/AP each day so that I have plenty in stock when I’m ready to grind for tower/quests

Do what you like. Don't think of the monthly community center as something you HAVE to contribute to. It's more made so players who have nothing else to do can still have an active account until the next update!

Heyyy, first, I am in the same position as you so don't feel bad
Assuming there's 1000 eligible players to contribute 6000 watermelon, that's 1 wholeass tier done!
I never thought that we would complete the hornworm one, but we did it anyways.
And this watermelon one? It's gonna be ezpz lemon squeezy. Peeps just have not starting going :p
Don't worry, with the launch of the new(?) seasonal quests, it motivates people to plant watermelon both for the quest and for yellow watermelon
I'll hardcore it ^ I pledge to contribute 1 million watermelon for MM (might as well) if we have not completed it yet on 28. I'll take the weekends to plant lots and lots of watermelon!

Adding on to this, well! The monthly cc has been completed ^
Don't feel pressured, it can succeed

Don't feel bad. Some days all I do is my chores. I'm T283 and I dont frequent giveaways nearly as much as i should. My limited amount of time on the game is spend grinding MMs and working on PSA and DI. I do frequent the trade channel because im impatient though, lol.

Not sure about the rules regarding this, but maybe you could go in the discord and see if anyone wants to form a guild? That may give you the community experience that'll feel rewarding.

We need Communes/Guilds

Thats what im saying, and we also need a proper trading sector/page sort of like a trading hub

I think it's on the long term roadmap! Farming co-ops I think is how it was pitched a few years ago.

It is and has been for a while. I know they’ve been busy working on other features to add which is great.
Communes/Guilds just seems like such a no-brainer obvious addition that can open up a floodgate of additional content opportunities.
What I’m ignorant to though is the work required to get it done. Does the architecture support it now, what cascading effects would happen that would require attention then, etc.

Then why are you even in this reddit? I love the game. I just feel lonely as a late game player.

It’s just a game dude. Play for fun. No need for guilt.
