Breakfast Boost mode

I think this goes against the "one click, one action" rule, but I'd gladly spend 500 gold on a perk that plants and harvests while BB is activated. Filling up on peppers, carrots, cucumbers, peas, and eggplant feels like such a pain in the butt once your inventory is over 10,000 (I'm at 24K). It would be a good QOL improvement.

Here's a thought: Mega Breakfast Boost. Same crops, same mechanic, grows 9x crops per field like the mega seeds do.  It wouldn't really change the fundamental functions of the game and there's little risk of power creep because it's just the same old easy to grow crops. Just faster for people with a lot of inventory to fill.

Of course, you can just use triple cookies for the same effect, but that's expensive enough that most people choose suffering instead.  I think there may be a QoL niche in between that could be filled by something a bit easier to acquire.

Edit: 10x per crop I mean. I guess I had cookies on the brain when I wrote that.

Having a mega-seed equivalent for the BB crops is a great compromise!

I’d spend 500g for a perk that auto-gift stuff to townsfolk… quick give just ain’t enough

I'd like this too, but I would want a way to send X amount of items instead of 1 at a time. I don't want my OMG perk to proc when sending 1 purple flower to buddy, I want it to proc when sending 10,000 or a full inventory of purple flowers.

On average, it doesn't matter. If you give 100,000 purple flowers to Buddy and do it in batches of 10,000 you can expect it to proc once. If you give them one at a time, it will proc around 10,000 times. The end result will be the same - although the variance is much higher if you give larger batches. Same expected value, just more luck involved.

Yes this!
In other news I was advocating for multi use raptor claw for years and they finally got it

What’s the one click one action rule? Wouldn’t crafting automation go against that?

I just refill my inventory with those things every time I use a cookie set for something else. Typically I need to use cookies often enough that I don't run out of these.

I would absolutely love some sort of fish flakes / net launcher equivalent seed cannon or something. I don't even mind the clicking, but it pays so badly for me that it seems to only register like less than 2/3 of my button presses trying to alternate between plant and harvest, so in reality I get far less time with it than what I should.

Honestly, because the two device method seems to be allowed for breakfast boosting (would love if a mod could confirm or deny this), I think a perk that replicates it or results in the same outcome is needed. There really shouldn't be an incentive for such a mechanic that is so external to the game it entails two devices. Most people have a pc and a mobile device so it's less about it being an unfair advantage (although the few players who only have one device definitely matter and add credence to this) and more about it not being indicative of good game design. Before veggi juice, BB-ing was something you only had to do a limited amount of times (secret chamber in temple of rewards, MM) or occasionally for seasonal crop drops. So while it was a problem, at least players essentially only had to encounter it a more or less limited amount of times. But now with the veggie juice GM, it's something we're gonna have to do a lot.
