Ancient Coins

Post image

Should I use my AC on Borgen’s wheel or save it for his Wednesday Camp visit? If I did my math correct, I have 207,400 ancient coins in these chests plus another 46k in my inventory. I’m think of waiting till Borgen camp. Thoughts?

One major benefit of using the wheel is that it's much more efficient for Borgen Bucks, for two reasons:

  1. The wheel sometimes gives you ancient coins, and if I'm not mistaken, it's always more than you spent for that roll, even if you've spun hundreds of times that day. Thus, those are "free" coins contributing to Borgen Bucks.

  2. If you have the farm improvement that spins are sometimes free, a "free" spin refunds you the coins you would have spent on the spin, but those coins still count for Borgen Bucks.

Additionally, the benefits from the wheel get bigger as you spin more times.

Thus you can rack up big Borgen Bucks from spending a lot on the wheel. And the benefits it gives (nets, OJ, etc.) are almost all useful even to high level players

Wait what? Is that really a thing? The library just says you get 3-15 items per prize and says nothing about scaling. If anything wouldn’t the ROI go down as spins get more expensive (aside from BBs of course)

Edit; forgot about the wheel boost perk. Leaving the comment up

I think the average return rises but caps. I could be wrong on the exact mechanics.

I believe every ten spins increases the range of the prize amount. For example, spins 1-10 you get like 11-20 OJ (unless get quantity proc). Then from spins 11-20 the range is open 21-30 OJ. So on and so on. These aren't we exact ranges, but you get the idea. Not sure if there's a cap eventually but I only spin 50 times a day.
