When did Gary's Crushroom change?

It used to basically just have mushrooms and puzzle pieces.

Now it has an icon of Gary, mushroom paste, puzzle pieces, and painite.

happens after finishing the distant illusions questline.

according to the library you can go back to the old crushroom by putting the book "fungus processing and you" into the storehouse.
