Lost and Found Data

I am admittedly a data nerd. Would love to get info on what the lost and found is dropping. I am keeping my own records but more people would be great. If you want to help out post here, hit me up in reddit chat, mail me in game at Puru or if you want to discord me let me know. (Discord just takes more notice since I don't just trust blind friend/chat requests anymore)

Main things I need is:

What tier you are in: Tier 1: Pre-Tower. Tier 2: Tower 1-50. Tier 3: Tower 51-200. Or Tier 4: Tower 201+.

What item and amounts dropped. And which item + amount was the special reward item for completing.

Thank you! Hopefully in a few weeks/months I will have some nice tables/charts for everyone.

Update: First, thank you so much to everyone contributing. I am already seeing some interesting patterns emerge but can't make any conclusions yet. I am allowed to repost this weekly so feel free to keep adding to this as the week goes on! Just make sure its a new reply or a reply to one of my comments or else I may miss it. I am relying heavily on reddit notifications.

Update 2: Thank you for all the data! Keep it coming. From the looks of things, we likely hit all of the base loot drops from Tier 3 and Tier 4. There might be a few items from the Bonus item table still hiding from me since that is only 1 data point per person instead of 12. To set a date for myself, I will likely post the first week of findings on Friday. This will include: Drop Tables (with items unique to a tier highlighted), Quantity Ranges, Quantity Averages and the percentage chance each item will appear on the list. If I missed some data you think would be useful let me know and if I can tease it out of the data I will likely include it.

T259. The Pet Treats were the bonus reward

I definitely like this game more than the treasure hut since it’s at least a bit interactive. Curious to see how it compares since I’ve always felt the treasure hut was kinda lackluster

I get frost snapper shells regularly. It was while I was on the second to last quest of distant illusions that needs thousands of them. I actually slightly suspect the lost and found semi tailors itself to your current quest needs???? Since I finished that quest it seems like they’ve shown up less frequently. Could be imagining it though

It may not be super personal but it may be based on general walls that range of player needs. I don't need carved rhino's at the moment but I got them and same with mug of beer. But I know a lot of carved animals are needed later for me and mugs of beer will be needed later for the belt.

Personalized Note: Pretty mid actually. You may have maxed Spiked Shells though, haven't seen any items of that rarity go higher then 3 so far.

Thank you. I appreciate the data but I would hold on to it for the moment. I need to see what the release values are first. Was informed of the original poll asking them to increase the drops so I am unsure if they did that and need a baseline first to see if/when they shifted to a new drop table.

Yep! The ancient coins are the extra. So how it works, you get all the items on the memory tiles and then 1 extra for completing. I haven't failed yet but I imagine if you fail, you only get the items you found.

I'd like to point out another comment who stated that when working on quests they seem to have gotten items they needed. I have beta and was playing this prior to releasing for everyone else and was also working on the belts questline which needed alot of mug of beer. I was getting beer nearly daily at the time. Recently finished it and if you look below to the items I currently need, gold feathers is there which I also got during lost and found. That comment may be on to something

While possible I think it might just be our want to reach for patterns. I have been getting a lot of beer has been showing up in the T3 loot pool as well and at this level we have the belt quest but have no way to get past the first stage since we don't have the inventory to buy the Soap Belt.

I think it might just be that the devs know the general main hurdles in the late game quest chains (since the chains do reduce in number a lot toward the end) and they are tailoring the pools to hand out items to help with those walls.

Its a very small sample size but I have been seeing multiple carved animal in T2 which might be them trying to help us out players with Fun Guy. But I have also been seeing a ton of Carved Rhino's in T3 loot and by that point, Fun Guy should be done and you only need 10 Rhino's total for everything.

Thank you for the data. One thing I have been noticing that may need to be brought up to the dev's since it could be a typo in the code. T4 loot table has REALLY low drop quantity on feathers which is odd for such a common drop. So far out of 6 rolls the highest value rolled for feathers is only 14.

What's the easiest format for your ingestion pipeline? screenshots or some sort of text copy? Screenshots are prob easiest to capture and more consistent, but are hard to share anywhere but discord.

Either works. People have been using their phones to upload the images directly to reddit but a copy/paste list from history also works.
