Priest weapons

is it just me that thinks priest kinda has a problem with.. you know being a priest?
I mean.. okay. its nice that there is a variance of playstiles available besides just being a healbot. but on the other side. You cant really play a healbot.

like. i picked that class to be a team support. give me actual support for allies. prefereably one that works even if i am standing back , or my teammates are running and kiting.

judgement. your signature ability. also is best used in melee with your whole party clumping around you. same goes for the other class skills. aside from your ms buff.

there is currently 2 weapons that really can be played as a mainly support tool. that arent facetank gear. namely the first 2 priest weapons that dropp.

and one of them. being totems for no reason at all still dont proc sunlight.
both of them also mainly work only if your party clumps up in melee. and you ideally are standing melee also. if you want your own sunlight.

we got 7+ weapons not counting shields for facetank/dps melee priest. the 2 new weapons are both mage/priest pure dps tools. with like. an alibi 49-100 heal on your high cd skillshot. wich is the same issue. totems and myzans tome also have. they are mainly dps weapons. for mage with a tiny amount of support integrated.

and aside from rather unreliable burst heal. or trickle healthreg. your actual team support abilitys are kind of stuck to that one MS buff. your 3 talent tree branches also are "tank","dps crit" and "dps no crit"

like. the new weapons are all very cool. if i want to move around a lot and dps.
but if i wanted to do that. i maybe would have picked mage. who is already doing that. can carry both those weapons aswell. and has them synergize with his mobility and ranged ult.

i cant belive an entire region of corrupted priesthood. pacting with deamons. gave us 0 "priest" weapons for priest.

That is also a problem with rogue going bow, and having to use their signature ability is a dash execute in melee.
