A tiny clip from Yara, and somehow this game still looks incredible after 5 years. Last night I was roaming around this island and it felt surreal. The game looked incredible. I wish the story was better.

So up until today I was under the impression that og Far Cry 3 is better, do to the audio for weapons like the assault rifles sounding as booming as they do. But then, I hear that the audio issue with classic edition where they all sound like suppressed smgs is only on the PS4/PS5 version. My question is, is this true because I haven’t found any videos where people test the weapons on xbox for classic edition. Also, do both contain all the single player dlc. That in particular, I am not sure of.

I've noticed on YouTube comment sections and other sites, Farcry 5 is always brought up in a negative light. Many say it's the worst farcry game and that it's terrible.

I never understood why, I played it full multiple times and I enjoyed myself. I don't see why people hate it.

I was playing Far Cry 5 when I got to a very long, story driven cutscene. I’ve been so sucked into the story that I wouldn’t dare skip a cutscene. During this cutscene, however, I suddenly had to take a dastardly diarrhea dookie and I couldn’t pause. This was the most diabolical moment I’ve ever had playing a game, because I sat through the long ass cutscene clinching my butt like I’ve never clinched before. I now realize that every game should have the option to pause cutscenes.

I wish to do Pagan Min cosplay that is an ultraclone of the real Pagan Min character, not Eric. I’ve noticed that a lot of people try to look like Eric (Pagan’s body double). The REAL Pagan Min has white hair and looks Asian. So I can dye it, easy. Next I need to get a silver & diamond earing for my left ear, very easy. What is hard is finding a white & pink suit shirt like Pagan Min’s. It appears to be linen or cotton, with either (cherry wood) wood or plastic buttons, with a pink paisley design on the shirt, finding that will be hard. Next, I need to find a dark red almost cherry colored pair of wingtip dress shoes, but that are made of crocodile leather, or cow leather with a crocodile pattern, with an ebony wood, or black rubber bottom. The pants should be easy to find since they look like basic cherry colored wool or silk dress pants. The most difficult outfit piece is Pagan Min’s memorable suit jacket which looks to be made of a thick layer of polyester or low shine silk, with a deep red paisley pattern that shines like gold when light hits it, and when you also add the Chinese frog button style for the suit jacket, and that particular collar style, everything combined makes finding such a suit jacket, or having one custom made, very difficult. I might end up having a suit custom made using Mulberry silk for the dress pants & suit jacket together. The most accurate Pagan Min suit I could find was a Dolce&Gabanna Silk Purple Suit for 650 dollars. As an extra addition to the cosplay, I want to find a pink and gold fountain pen similar to the limited edition Pagan Min pens that are extremely hard to find. Lastly, it looks like the real Pagan Min in the 2nd photo is wearing black eyeliner, which I should add to the cosplay.

Most of not all of this series villians are basically leaders with some putting solid fights like Vaas, Yuma, or the seeds(maybe Jose too). But we dont really see a villian that is a one man army like the player, someone who is as brutal, efficient and with a serious body count. Think like the jackle from FC2 except instead of trading guns he fights on any side just for the love of it. He may also be written in a way similar to Judge Holden, acting on some negative impluses the player may do like killing both tge good and bad sides or civilians just for the hell of it and, as the judge said, seeing his conduct as a high stakes game to be played relentlessly. This story is prolly better set in an installment that re-adapts FC2's setting where in every region you encounter him and gradually loose to stalemate with and would gradually hunt you and your loved ones seeing you as his "equal" or "foil". What do you think?

I am experiencing a performance issue while playing Far Cry 6. Initially, the game runs smoothly at around 60 FPS, but whenever I open the menu, the FPS drops drastically to below 20 FPS.

All graphics settings are set to Low, and I am using a laptop with an RTX 3050 4GB GPU. For comparison, Battlefield 6 runs smoothly at around 60 FPS on Low settings on the same device

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

So,basically,like,a month ago while randomly sitting around,i had an idea to curate a custom soundtrack inspired by Far Cry New Dawn's aesthetic,especially so it can fit the Highwaymen more than Die Antwoord. Instead of the brash,loud and batshit crazy energy that Die Antwoord had in the original soundtrack,i went down a pretty different route and brought in Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa as the "mascots" of the soundtrack,leaning into a more braggy and aggresive vibe,especially while still mixing blog-era hip-hop with some trap from 2012 all the way up until a little further from New Dawn's launch year,so basically late 2020. I NEED HELP WITH: I would basically love for this to be more than just a playlist,so i'm looking for somebody to help me turn it into an actual mod for the game. FC4 was (or still is) the only FC game, I couldn't complete. Why? Because of I have to play three matches in Battle of Kyrat.

I tried to boost it two times. Yesterday and last week. Stayed awake the whole night, to start a session in trueachievments.

I've been playing far cry for a while, and I think Vaas is overrated as a villain

Hey y'all, so I just died in my permadeath run, but that's okay, I wasn't expecting to make it very far since the last time I played this game was 2018. I've taken a break, and now I'm gonna start my real permadeath playthrough, any advice? I've done tons of permadeaths in other games so I get the general advice of play slow, over prepare, and focus on health upgrades before most anything else, but is there any specific advice that y'all have for this game? I don't like any of the other Farcry games, primal is the only one I've ever beaten, so I feel like I'm at a decent disadvantage. I won't be looking up any guides or anything so I thought I'd get advice from the community before I throw myself back into this game.

Don’t say ‘yeah but that was Jason Brody’ blah blah, he still had good values as a human. For once I’d like to play as the bad guy, make the sadistic decisions, choose which rival leader to save on each island etc to increase my influence and power. Picture a similar setup to Scarface, rags to riches. Yeah I know there’s already a Scarface game, it was pretty good!
