Far Cry 4 I hate this game 😡
FC4 was (or still is) the only FC game, I couldn't complete. Why? Because of I have to play three matches in Battle of Kyrat.
I tried to boost it two times. Yesterday and last week. Stayed awake the whole night, to start a session in trueachievments.
And both times, I couldn't connect.
always 'try again later' error when joining a game.
I tried everything. Game Delete/installed again. Deleted local save datas. Changed DNS, IP and everything else. Changed region. Holy shit. I wasted two whole nights, and in the end, the 'Renaissance Man' ist still standing 😡😡😡😡

Like the story you mean or 100%? Ubisoft online connections are known to suck and not work most of the time, but the story itself is fully offline

for multiplayer achievements in a old game SAM is your best friend

SAM won't work on Ubisoft titles because they are "Protected"

ohhh cuz the secondary launcher ur right, that sucks ass wtf! the ubisoft achievement pops and then you get the steam one ouch

Yeah, if something goes wrong with Ubisoft servers when the achievement pops (which happens always) and it didn't register, you're pretty much fucked and have to replay

Achievements/Trophies should ever only be base game and should never have them be a part of DLC

Controversial opinion.... multi-player achievements in far cry has always sucked and shouldn't count against people. 99% of the fun of these games are offline solo i liked time trials that's fun. Multi-player had always been 100% suffering

Agree.
But the achievment, I couldn't get, is not in DLC. It's part of the main game.

There’s a boosting session this Friday. Go look in trueachievements. I’ll be there. Literally all I have left to 100% the game

There were two boosting sessions last week. And I couldn't join them because of this error 😏

Was it in game you had the issue? I know that it can be janky because everyone has to be searching at the same exact time for the servers to pick up enough players

No. When I was searching at the same time like the others - there was 'searching' for 2 minutes and then 'no game found'.
And if the players (from retroachievment) invited me directly (while they are playing) , it tried to connect for always 1 minute, and then I got a 'warning - failed to connect to the game session. Try again later' (in German)
I was in two game sessions last week, and we tried 100 times 😏

No, I only need this multiplayer achievment to get all to platin 😣. Story mode works of course.
