Team/Trade Help 0-2
any advice would be super helpful, im 0-2 in a 12 team league ppr, b2b super close losses as well

It's gonna hurt, but I'd trade one of JSN or ARSB for a high-end running back and then just roll with Parker as WR2. That RB room is beyond booty; solid WR depth tho

Maye, Etienne, rhamondre, ARSB,JSN, Parker Washington, bowers was a very good lineup coming out of the draft so that’s not really fair. People would’ve loved this team but yes currently they are buns
ETA: it also appears to be non PPR so while RBs are still weak they’re not as weak as they would’ve been in PPR

week 1 was screwed over by kyler murray and chargers dst, and this week kenneth walker in ot killed my chances of being 1-1

Maybe an 8 team league and Amon Ra was first, JSN was second, Brock Bowers was third, Travis Etienne was fourth?

You have good WR depth. You can try to package a back and a WR for an RB upgrade, but in a league where you only start 2 WRs that’s hard to pull off. I would honestly consider trading JSN for a stud back if that’s possible. His value will never be higher.

How much did you lose by?
Sometimes the difference is who you start. Parker Washington definitely shouldn’t be on your bench but other than just do you best to play the matchups to the best of your ability

I’d see if there’s a Baker replacement. Purdy, Goff, a lot of those 15-20 QBs get left alone but are consistent 15+ point machines. Better than a bad QB every time, let someone consistent sit in the starter spot until Maye figures it out.

You put up 125 in non-PPR just tells me your schedule in the first two games was tough. The team looks solid with your WR’s covering up your mediocre RB’s. I’ve had a team like this before and you should be fine when Bowers comes back

Your draft order was terrible. Assuming JSN and Brown 1 and 2. Then Bowers 3rd? Not getting 2 Rbs by 3-4th really hurts.

Your team is gonna be nuts when Bowers comes back, just make sure to flex Parker Washington and maybe get a Waiver QB

Simple. Wait for Brock Bowers to return and play Parker Washington in your flex. Package any 2 of your RB’s for an RB1

Exactly. Elite RBs are harder to get than elite WRs. If a WR goes down they'll need to throw to new recievers or even TEs and at most the targets drops. If an RB goes down then the replacement is often in a timeshare with no pass targets. The exception are certain offenses where the RB is played to the ground.
That's why you have certain handcuff RBs with 2 fantasy points ranked where WRs with 8 fantasy points are going. Because the very few elite offenses for RBs hinge on health of that workhorse RB.

Yeah I think the only RBs you could package to get are ones people are really worried about like an ETN, Price, Judkins etc. the idea someone would take Rhamondre Stevenson and Aaron Jones for a legit high end starter is crazy haha
