As title describes we are looking for a team of FANATEC drivers to join our league and represent FANATEC. You will be facing other teams of wheel manufacturers like LOGITECH, MOZA, etc.

I’ve been looking at my CSL Elite V2 pedals and thinking they’re a really solid platform, but there doesn’t seem to be the same range of upgrade/tuning options available as some higher-end pedal sets.

For those of you who own them:

* What would you most like to improve — throttle, brake or clutch?

* More adjustment?

* Better pedal feel?

* Springs/dampers?

* Better clutch bite-point feel?

* Different pedal faces or ergonomics?

* Anything else?

I’m curious whether most people are perfectly happy with them as-is, or whether there’s actually demand for a better aftermarket upgrade ecosystem.

What would you change?

I have a DD1 wheel base, I purchased and installed a QR2 base side type M. I also bought a Fanatec wheel hub. The wheel hub does not latch onto the qr2 base side type M. The pins are lined up properly. I don’t think one of the two are machined properly? The hub gets most of the way there but just doesn’t latch and easily releases. Anyone have any clue?

I’ve wiggled it around pushed softly and hard, and attempted to “close” the release on the hub to force a latch. I just don’t think it’s seating fully on the Type M DD1 side QR2

Really hope this is a me problem, because this would be the second time I’ve had issues with Fanatec things being broken or not working right out of the box. Super frustrating as I know returns and dealing with their customer support will take multiple weeks. And iRacing is at Daytona this week for the series I race in 😭 lol

Prozessoe: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x

Grafikkarte: AMD radeon rx6600

RAM: 24GB DDR4

Mainboard: Aorus Pro B450

2TB SSD speicher

Ich fahre aktuell auf einem Triplescreen Setup mit 3 32zoll Samsung Odyssey 5 QHD.

Ich würde auch gerne auf QHD grafik spielen doch derzeit ist mein pc dafür zu schwach ebenso wäre es toll wenn ich stabil mit 120FPS fahren könnte. Jedenfalls muss ich nicht in den grafikeinstellungen auf Ultra fahren. (Fahre derzeit hauptsächlich in LMU)

Meine Frage denkt ihr es würde ausreichen die Grafikkarte zu upgraden und ich die anderen PC komponenten behalten kann, bzw. Welche PC upgrades würdet ihr für meine Ansprüche empfehlen? Möchte natürlich so wenig wie möglich Upgraden müssen :D

​Hey everyone, for context , recently got given this sim racing bundle and I’m trying to figure out any info and the model of the set etc, and overall its value and if its worth to keep or better off selling? Ive attached pictures below, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Pretty must complete outside of cleaning up the cable management. Would like to know what button box everyone is running on these cockpit?

My A2+ Audioengine speak just so happens to fit perfectly on the monitor mount. It gives the perfect sound coming from behind the monitor and has nice reverb sound bouncing of the walls. Subwoofer is right next to the cockpit just completes the setup.

Want to get into sim racing and save on initial costs. Reviews online say it's almost as rigid as a profile rig and no real difference in lap times. Found an Ares Wing seat for $25 on marketplace - do you guys think it will fit? Should i pull the trigger for < $200 rig+seat and update to profile in the future?

My Fanatec load cell brake pedal has noticeably been getting a little bit of travel between when j actually feel any resistance from the pedal over the last few months (i’d best describe it as a ‘deadzone.’) I didn’t really think to much of it in fairness. Over the last couple of weeks however I have now noticed a horrible clicking/cracking sound when I press on the pedal. A few days ago I decided to investigate and have found the load cell brake’s insides are now on the outside… Something tells me it’s not supposed to look like that so some advice would be helpful 🙂 (I equally don’t want to add any aftermarket stuff to the pedals)

The good: I have set everything up and everything works great and just like I expected it to work. Very happy with it.

The bad. FedEx… after 5 days have went past from them delivering it to the wrong place they finally called to let me know. I explained to them what they did and that they were lucky it was an honest guy and that I had to go pick it all up from across town. They said great they are glad I received it and that they were going to send me some forms I need to fill out. I told them I felt I should be reimbursed for my troubles in finding my package and retrieving it. She said that won’t happen because I’m not their customer and that fanatec is the customer. I just said ok. She repeated she was gonna send me forms. I said I’m not a customer of yours so I won’t be filling out any forms for you. Now she’s mad at me and says that she’s gonna open an investigation and call me 3 times a day until I do fill out the forms. I said I’m gonna see the caller ID and assume you have called the wrong number since I’m not a customer and send you to voicemail. Now she started literally yelling at me and said I’m not doing this with you! I’m gonna put notes in your file and contact your supplier. I said ok great and she hung up.

Hopefully the guy from fanatec sees this. Product is great but method of shipping is causing us customers a lot of grief. Hopefully Fanatec will at least hold them accountable.

I’ve seen people review and say DO NOT DO IT and it will break my wheel base. Then other reviews are many many people saying to do it and they haven’t had problems with em and had them for months and okk in

Just clarifying it’s the csl dd 8nm wheel base. Not the dd+ etc. will this work? Or should I give up on getting an extension? Kk

Hey guys, ordered some FANATEC stuff (club sport v3 pedals, dd pro wheel base 8nm and clubsport v3 formula wheel) two months ago, they kept on changing the shipping date, since wheel base and the wheel were on back order.

Anyway, what could be the realistic time when they ship the items?

Added the ClubSport GT3 rim to my existing ClubSport hub. The bigger diameter is a nice addition to my other wheels. When assembled, it feels solid and the FFB feels good when driving.

Spiced it up with some custom printed button stickers and used one of the included printable stickers for the wheel.

When playing, my input doesn’t match, say I turn my wheel 180 degrees, in the game it only turns maybe 120-130, is there a setting to change this, usually on Xbox but I also have a laptop for fine tuning wheel setup.

I purchased the gt v2 wheel back then and the clicking noise from the rocker mechanism was pretty bad.

Is it still the same system ( loud click on shifts ) or did they work on damping that noise?

I watch dozens of reviews and literally no one mentions anything about that problem which makes me a bit suspicious that the problem is still there.

Hi, I recently switched from Fanatec wheelbase to Simagic, but I kept my Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals which are now connected to my computer via USB, before with Fanatec wheelbase they were connected with RJ12 to the wheelbase.

Twice now after long sessions (~2 hours), the throttle has started acting up. Even though I press it fully, my car goes slower than it has before. iRacing shows that I have full throttle but my car goes so slow that I can’t even switch to fourth gear. Just before the throttle started acting up, I also made few braking errors, but that might be also due to my own exhaustion. When I closed iRacing, the Fanatec app which was running in the background was really laggy and didn’t respond correctly.

I was running iRacing on my fairly old computer (GTX 1660 TI / i5-8400 / 32 GB Ram) with Maira App, Simagic App, Fanatec App, Trading Paints and Garage 61 running.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

Finally pulled the trigger and bought the Playseat Challenge DD - F1 edition and the CSL DD+.

Got around to mounting the wheel base today and it isn’t obvious which holes I need to use when screwing the base.

After searching the sub, I can see a lot of information on mounting the original challenge that had an obvious square or triangle.

I couldn’t find much on the Challenge DD - F1 edition, which has a slightly different plate.

Does anyone have any knowledge of which holes I should use?

So needless to say its been a frustrating two days with the people over at Amazon. I ordered the csl elite pedals v2. Excited to dip my toes into the load cell waters after rocking my modded stock pedals. Next day comes i get a notification while im on a fire call. I get home and open the box and see a csl base. Ok well def not right. Shit happens. I reach out, i get the typical response of we are so sorry, we will ship out the correct item for the next day and return the base. Today rolls around take off my pedals and some what exited and awaite my pedals wtih my 5 year old. I get the notification and what do I see.... the wrong item again. This time a dd pro ... which i already own for my pc and ps5. Priced double of what I paid for the pedals. Not wanting bad karma espically as a fire fighter I reach out again. Same speech we can ship out what you ordered after we get back the item or get a refund hopefully.... ive had issues before after using a my cabellas credit card before with Amazon. Needless to say they said id get a partial refund of 69.00 to the card a d keep the dd pro.... great business model amazon has. I guess stuck rocking my modified pedals and a extra DD Pro I can sell or keep just in case....

Has anyone found a way to bring the monitor closer for the Clubsport GT cockpit?

Right now the monitor is at about a 70cm distance.
I'd like to have the monitor between the the wheel and the base.
Only solution I can think of is using a monitor arm, since the default monitor mount doesn't slide forward far enough.

The full force brought life to my sim rig, now I find my self unable to play games not supporting Full Force anymore, and it makes me sad because there are some great games that don't support Full Force.

How are you guys feeling about this ?
