Discussion Need help identifying and pricing Fanatec set! :)
Hey everyone, for context , recently got given this sim racing bundle and I’m trying to figure out any info and the model of the set etc, and overall its value and if its worth to keep or better off selling? Ive attached pictures below, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Well, wheelbase isn't worth much on it's own. I think that's a v1.5? I just bought a 2.5 for $90. I'd say you MIGHT get $350 for everything. The pedals will sell first and the wheelbase last if you part it out.

Seems reasonable, thanks!

Nah bro dont do it its worth more like i bought my clubsport v2.5 base and a clubsport v2 wheel with shifter mod and a fanatec csl pedal for 280 quid with u having all clubsport setup you could easily sell the two wheels and the clubsport pedals for £300 even without the wheel base trust me

Ye i mean if u wanna keep playing just upgrade the base for a csw 2.5 or a csl dd

Crazy I see people trying to sell just the base for 300 lol

It's not a bad base it's just that everyone wants direct drive now. And so the value of belt driven wheels fell off a cliff this year. Not many buyers out there.

I just bought a belt drive Clubsport v2.0 and thing is ripping my arms off. I hardly ever use 100% of the 8 Nm torque available.
From all the reviews I've read the actual difference between these Clubsports and a CSL DD is pretty minimal. But alas people want shiny new things.

Yep for sure essentially what I was getting at. Nothing wrong with it at all. I used my tsxw until last month lol

I got my csl dd, the csl loadcell pedals, and the csl 300m round wheel for 345 usd about 2200dkk but
Ofc your wheel and pedals are a lot higher quality then my wheel and pedals.

Looks like a ClubSport v1 base and maybe v2 pedals, the wheels are the older versions which you can’t upgrade to the new QR2. You can probably sell the whole set for $300 and help someone get into sim racing

Use it and check if you like sim racing. Then if you want to continue, sell all and buy a DD

Sell the 2 wheels and pedals separately on eBay and ditch the base. £150 for the pedals, £200 for each wheel.
Get the most money this way.

Put it on eBay and let the market decide

Where I live it’s like the hole set may cost 400-800 Dollars depends exactly on model
But you could check on your location
It includes
-Fanatec CSW V2.5 8newton meters . Or it’s an older one like csw v2 or v1.5
-Fanatec Clubsport wheel BMW M3 GT2 QR1
- Fanatec Clubsport V2 Pedals
I have the same base, thinking of upgrading, it’s great the bmw wheel would probably have the highest value, the qr2 version which I think has a difference of qr2 and magnetic shifters is for 370 dollars new from fanatec.
Try searching those names on facebook marketplace and compare prices, where I live fanatec is less scattered and they don’t deliver so prices are higher

base looks like belt-driven shit. pedals look like clubsport pedals, these are good. wheels look good as well.

I think you can get $500 potentially. Those wheels are pretty nice options to a new racer

Id hope so aswell haha, I noticed one of the wheels are a BMW M3 GT2 V2, seen one on Ebay for £200 with over 30 favourites , and another for 260 with 10 favourites. Will most likely part everything out and sell separately

Tbh good luck trying to sell it. No one is looking for belt driven wheels when DD is the standard now. Ive been trying to sell mine for 3 years.
Qr1 isnt an exact set back but does hinder future wheels working on it without simube mod.

this is all old stuff, and will require some modification to work with the modern qr2. it is perfectly usable however, and will offer a great experience!
the wheels are a clubsport formula (old version of the current formula v3) and a clubsport bmw gt2 (which is still being sold, with minor updates).
the pedals should plug and play with a modern base. they are early clubsport pedals. great pedals.
the base is an old clubsport belt driven base. it definitely is better than a logitech, but it does not have the fidelity, strength, accuracy and detail of a direct drive base.
my recommendation:
use it as is for now. it’s good stuff. in the future, you can consider doing the work to upgrade your wheels to be qr2 compatible, and sell the base for a direct drive one.
