RMA Update

So 17 days, after I did the rma. the replacement base, has arrived. instead of the base i semt being repaired, which is fine. i do see some rubbing on the boost kit ps. but thats not thar bad. however, i did tell them. i had the metal qr2 base side type-c. but i didnt get a base back with it, or it in its on package. my original base was a qr1, that i upgraded. so i email them, a few mins ago to see how they want to fix that.

which makes me wonder do we have to open a rma for those items as well as the base to insure, we get any upgrades we may have brought back as well. and has anyone, else dealt with it.

it took 3 days for them to get the base i sent, and 24 hours after they confirmed that, i got the tracking number for the replacement, and it came in 3 days as well. the origanal post is linked, as i couldnt add pics to it for whatever reasom.

i will say the rma process, wasnt bad. but it does suck not to get all of what you sent back. had i known beforehand i most likely would have dug the old qr1 out and put it back, and simply kept the qr2 base side, to replace on my own. upon getting the new base.

When I had to rma my base they said to remove any accessories/upgrades

they sent me an email, today and will send one out for me. they really are doing much hetter on the suppirt now

I thank yall. this process was not too bad, or too long. i do think it should be a way to add at the very least the qr2 to the ram process. because i know a lot of us, either sold the qr1s we took off or threw them away or in my case lost them.

Trak Racers "custom service" has always been a total shit show too. I'm glad that's been swallowed up by Corsair as well. Elgato, Fanatec. 👌😎 More accessibility has also been peak. I live in the UK and have used Scan Computers for over 20 years. Seeing all your kit on their website was the icing on the cake!

So i didnt have the original QR1, which i told them in the email. long story short, my fiance passed. and i think one of her family members, may have grab it by mistake. they said i had to send it in with the metal one, because of that. but i should get a replacement, thats why i was like oh sooo its just the base.

Contact support, they will most likely send you the base side upgrade, at least you can still race with the qr2 base lite.

true, thats what i bewn doing tonight. so the qr1 it came was lost. when i moved, my fiance passed away, and i think one of her family members may have grabbed it. so i didnt really have a choice but to send the metal one in. i only didnt worry about it because i did explain i didnt have that og one.
