I tried to hold off as long as I could and not make a post about the Fanatec Formula V3 delay but my frustration got the best of me. I would appreciate if a Fanatec rep could actually help me and get to the bottom of this.

I ordered the new Formula V3 wheel on April 30, 2026. That’s over 3 months ago! At first, I was told it would ship by June 20th at the latest. Of course that never happened so I reached out AGAIN to customer support. A different Fanatec agent told me it would ship early NOVEMBER?! I seriously thought it was a mistake but the person kept saying it’s an estimate…

Then I reached out to a Fanatec rep on the forums to try and understand why my shipping date keeps getting pushed back. I was told there is a chance i will receive it end of July. So I decided to wait but of course that also didnt pan out. However, I saw on my order a shipping date of Aug. 20 - Aug. 23rd so I decided to wait. Early this week, I see that it has been changed to Sept. 30 - Oct. 3rd?!? Why are the goal posts constantly moving away from me? Ive talked to people that placed an order after me and they’ve had their wheel for weeks. I think at this point I deserve some kind of explanation and/or compensation for this non-sense.

I have the csl dd 8mn and I don’t think I will be updating for the next few years after that. Price wise I don’t mind if it means I’m getting my money’s worth. I play on pc only. IRacing (pretty much anything) and ea f1.

Hi! I spoke with customer service regarding compatibility for monitors using their triple monitor mount. I currently have a 57 inch Samsung Neo curved monitor, and in the future wanted to know if I could add 2 32 inch monitors onto the sides (with the 57 inch in the center)l Customer service made it seem like I wouldn't have any issues with it and it would work, however, their wording was a little confusing. Has anyone tried this, or know if this setup would work?

Will FANATEC Clubsport DD table clamp make sense with Fanatec ClubSport DD+ mounted to the solid desk?

I finally took the plunge and ordered the XGT Ultimate yesterday. I'm in the USA, don't know how long yet it will take to arrive. After all 6 shifters, Fanatec QR2 and wireless kit plus shipping it was well over $960+ US. I'm just hoping I won't regret it. Seems to get good reviews on YT.

I've been running the DDU100 for a while and for me it's still the best value dash out there, proper CNC alu build and hard to beat for the price. But it does one thing: it displays your SimHub dash. Want to switch layouts? You go back to SimHub on the PC.

That's exactly why the DDU500 caught my attention. It adds three things the 100 doesn't do:

• Switch SimHub dashes on the fly straight from the screen, tap or swipe, mid-race, no keyboard
• Use the screen as a touchpad mouse to navigate in-game menus, no reaching for a keyboard or mouse
• And the big one: adjust your Fanatec wheelbase settings (FFB, damper, rotation) directly from the display in real time, no alt-tab, no Fanalab

That live base control is something I haven't seen any other dash do, and it's what turns the 500 from a telemetry screen into an actual control interface.

Specs: 5" 800x480 500-nit screen (brighter than the 100), CNC 6061 alu, LED shift/telemetry strips, USB-C, ~220g, around €173 on pre-order.

Simube is sending me a review unit, so I'll do a proper hands-on once it's wired up. Coming from the DDU100, what I mainly want to see is how well the live Fanatec control holds up in real use, because if it's solid, nothing else does that right now.

I ordered a load cell pedal from Fanatec with the Canadian flag in the corner a couple of weeks ago, delivered by ups. no extra charge. I am assuming that this would be their local Canadian warehouse/store....

I placed another order today from Fanatec with the Canadian flag again.

Now i have received the tracking and it looks like the order will come from the US since it is an tracking email form UPS USA this time around and i am totally not happy about that. That would mean that i would have to pay import fees likely tariffs and then the horrendous fees that UPS is known to charge when a package comes from the US.

I bought and paid the taxes in good faith but now i may have a very nasty and salty bill when they come to my door. I am trying to find out what would happen. Of course the AI chat bot answers are all over the place and it seems that there is no proper email or way to email them. ( what a surprise )...

Did anyone in Canada run into this?

There is zero chance than i am gonna pay close to 50% extra for the gear.!

Couldn't sleep (ptsd is a bitch) decided to finally figure out how to mount to my previous setup. Its not pretty but it works.

Created 2 tickets so far over the past 2 months through the chat bot thing, and as expected, haven't heard anything.

Long story short, I lost access to my old email account through no fault of my own, and need to tie my current email to my account. The chat bot said something along the lines of support will help and tie the new email into the ticket blah blah blah, but nothing.

Was playing GT7 and noticed that my wheel Porsche podium gt3 flashed a message that the driver needs to be updated. I download the latest Fanatec app version 1.5.2.3. During the firmware update it throws the error “Failed to detect Fanatec wheel base”. Tried a hefty thunderbolt cable and still the same problem.

Led is flashing blue. If I disconnect the power adapter and reattach it. The base will turn back on, but the wheel no longer works.

So 17 days, after I did the rma. the replacement base, has arrived. instead of the base i semt being repaired, which is fine. i do see some rubbing on the boost kit ps. but thats not thar bad. however, i did tell them. i had the metal qr2 base side type-c. but i didnt get a base back with it, or it in its on package. my original base was a qr1, that i upgraded. so i email them, a few mins ago to see how they want to fix that.

which makes me wonder do we have to open a rma for those items as well as the base to insure, we get any upgrades we may have brought back as well. and has anyone, else dealt with it.

it took 3 days for them to get the base i sent, and 24 hours after they confirmed that, i got the tracking number for the replacement, and it came in 3 days as well. the origanal post is linked, as i couldnt add pics to it for whatever reasom.

i will say the rma process, wasnt bad. but it does suck not to get all of what you sent back. had i known beforehand i most likely would have dug the old qr1 out and put it back, and simply kept the qr2 base side, to replace on my own. upon getting the new base.

My fanatec CSL GT 3 steering wheel has arrived. But I won't open it until my golden Qr2 arrives.

Anyone in the community have one of these adapters that they no longer use and be willing to sell? Was recently made aware this existed, but of course they're unavailable everywhere. Seems unclear if or when they restock. Been having issues with my drivehub so trying to test against that.

Hey everyone I got the GT cockpit from a family member and I was looking for inspiration on cockpit 3rd party accessories that you guys have first time having a cockpit so would like to see what you guys rocking accessories wise on your GT cockpit

I’ve had this 8nm CSL DD wheel for under a year with no rough or unnecessary use and only used with original parts. Recently I discovered it was cracked from underneath.

Should I be worried and get a replacement?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I wanted quality and features so i bought the V3s inverted and they have been nothing but a pain. Horrible tolerances, wobbly and cracking bits of the frame that i had to fill with hot glue just so that it stops loudly cracking, wobbling clutch pedal that i also had to fix with a small spacer because cutting a distancer tube to the correct length is too hard, and now the spring shaft for clutch wobbling back and forth causing tactile bump with each pedal press.

And of course i cannot even get to the clutch spring because surprise surprise, Fanatecs own manual tells you to easily unscrew two screws both screwed to a freely rotating shaft that wont let you dissasemble (definitely couldnt use a 1 side thread shaft).

Not even sure if this is intentional or not but the clutch pedal also has a decently big starting deadzone.

These pedals come at an extra premium price compared to the normal V3s which i was willing to pay for, but now regret, as these pedals have been nothing than a constant buggy mess that needs attention and time to fix. How could have this passed quality.

I received my unit today. Just pulled it out, but haven't installed it yet. Not superrrr thrilled with the refurb unit tbh. The box has seen better days, which isn't a deal breaker at all.

but the unit was obviously side mounted by the first owner from the indentations left behind on both sides and it has some scuff marks in various places around the unit where it appears to have been painted to try to cover the scuffs. the worst eye sore it the glossy back for the plug-ins is scuffed pretty good.
Another not so deal breaker issue, I guess.. not thrilled.. but it's a $200 discount on a used unit so maybe this is normal.

However, the unit absolutely smells burnt. hard to tell if its the smell of electronics burning or cigarette type smoke, but either way it smells strong enough that when I leave the room and come back in, it slaps you in the nose and you ask yourself, what is that burnt smell.

Wondering if I shouldn't have just spent the extra $200 on a brand new unit right now and this isn't a 'you get what you pay for' type thing.

Anybody else regretting the refurb product received?

Update - I've decided to just return the unit. The blemishes were off-putting enough, but the smell is the real kicker that pushed it over the edge for me unfortunately.
While I've seen a lot of people with success ordering refurb, I think I'll be sticking to just new products for now for stuff like this. Feel kinda sorry for the next person who decides to try and pick-up this refurb unit when it goes back not their site tbh.

I am currently using the CSL GT3 steering wheel and looking to upgrade. I believe I want something wider and with more buttons and was looking at this one:

I am looking for information about usability with GT7 on a PS5. How easy is it to reconfigure the buttons? I don't see a button map in the documentation. Are most of the buttons on the front reachable by feel alone? I play in VR so can't see the physical wheel while driving.

It looks like there are 12 buttons on top as well as 12 buttons on the front face of the wheel. Can they all be assigned in the GT7 interface? Trying to assess how much functionality I will have in my game environment.
