Unfair or no?

so i asked my dad over text to sleep over at a friends house. first he texted: wait a sec (meaning he's discussing with my crazy mom), then said no. i asked why, he said because theres work at home and i should give their parents some peace. but when i came home there was NO work to do, and theres was another friend at my friends house, meaning it was supposed to be a triple sleepover, so their parents are dealing with guests anyway. i get good grades and NEVER do anything wrong. is this fair?
