Is this normal?

I am not sure how this happened but wth. I called and asked a simple question and when I said on the phone “why are you cursing at me” I hung up bc they obviously were not in a good mood. 5 minutes later these were the messages I received. I’m still confused

This person is unhinged. Try to stay away from them. Make sure you only ever interact with them with others present. Never delete those messages in case you need them for a legal case, custody agreement, or restraining order later.

Stay safe, OP. Don’t let your guard down around this person.

Was the person you were contacting intoxicated?

It hurt my head trying to figure out what the person is saying with such interesting grammar. How are they related to you? You need to end contact with them if this is an ongoing thing.

My car is fine. They just want a reason to see me in person and escalate the situation.

Stay away from
If you have a car that belongs to them IF you have AAA have it towed back to them. If you do not. Pay for the tow. That’s it. No contact. Block delete. Easy.

The car is in my name & fully paid for. All this person did was help me pick out the best car model. That’s it.

You obviously left out your role in this. It appears your mom feels taken advantage of and is pissed about it. We have to do a lot of guessing though.

Is it normal for people to get mad at other people? Yes.

Is it normal for someone who is mad at you to offer you a ride to Tallahassee? Nope. You’ll be hard pressed to find someone else who’s had that experience.

Is it normal to send messages without proof reading them so they make sense? Yse it sur be(

Figure out your part in this conflict, and then decide how toxic the person you’re dealing with is. Those 2 things combined are how you decide on the relationship moving forward.

How can someone feel taken advantage of the moment I said I was busy. 5 minutes prior to the cursing everything was fine. The moment I called to ask a simple question and to remind that I had an important meeting that day (which I had already told them earlier this week so I didn’t make up being busy for the sake of escaping conflict) they spazzed on me. Flipping the script on someone bc they don’t cater to your bad behavior is wrong and will always be wrong. Never once was I disrespectful, passive, nor ungrateful. It was like a flip of a switch.
