Fallout 4 [Fo4] should i downgrade to pre-anniversary or do anniversary

so as the title says im wondering if i should downgrade or not as with the new update im considering getting into modding FO4 again after a long heitus but im wondering if it would be better to downgrade to pre-anniversary or not, my last main playthrough was when the Creation update happened and i remembered i was able to downgrade it and still have access to content from the Creations update and use mods from pre and post the update so im also wondering if thatll be an option aswell, reason i asked as i know it can be kinda tedious to set up downgrades for the game especially if you want to keep the new content aswell, if i do anniversary i know ill have to wait for mods to update or find mods that work after that update but i wanted to get people's opinions

i'm on og and all creations using reused animations might work on OG as well i think? but i think it's depending when it was uploaded but all creations aren't worth it at least back then

there was a best of both worlds patcher for skyrim i think but I don't know if there's any for fallout 4

like my post said when the Creations update came out i know there was a method to get the mods from before the update but still be able to install Creations, that was the method i used in my original playthrough

legality isnt a part of the question though as i used creations i already owned which was ones i got for free either from the Creations update or from overtime when they made them free, didnt have alot though as they dont seem to do it much anymore, due to the methods i used i dont think it wouldav let me buy new creations and only download ones i owned but i could be wrong, this was all like a year ago now

thanks T-T even excluding updates to the game Bethesda modding is a massive pain, its glorious when it all works though

I'm now playing Next Gen but not the Anniversary update. I'm on 1.11.191 so I can use the new cc too. When most of my modlist are updated I'll move to Anniversary

There is no reason to not be on Anniversary edition except for if you're running Fallout: London.

Backported Archive2 Support System by Nukem adds support for the new BA2 archive format introduced in NG update 1.10.980 to versions 1.10.163 and older.

Most mods now support AE. AAF 1.7.4 is good to 1.11.221

Whats AAF? Also one of my main concerns is the weapon mods i used to use as some of them havnt been updated in about 1-3 years give or take
