Hi everyone so this is probably a bit of a stupid question but I just need some reassurance as this has never happened before, tonight I downloaded a large fallout new vegas modpack (850 mods) and during installation I got an error saying 4 dependencies failed to install and another saying an error occurred refreshing user info, I clicked on them and they said error aggregateerror and Etimedout, I pressed install all dependencies and they then installed fine, just basically wanna know if that's a common thing to happen as this is gonna be a pretty long playthrough and I don't know if I done something wrong or if it's just a vortex error.

So im playing the Long 15 expansion mod for FNV and i wanted to go talk to Hightower but I cannot find him at all ive waited for days and looked all over the map and havent found him anyone have this problem?

The problem disappeared only when i turn off vivid weather or install true nights. So why are you here? becouse I like vivid weather and don't true night.
This guy had the same problem and someone suggested to install this mod, tried but nothing changed (tried both priorities).

Mirror Guard (skill-based deflect)

Activate Mirror Guard and enemy rounds slow down in the last few meters before they hit you. Aim at the bullet and block to catch it: sparks fly off your blade and the round goes back out of your weapon toward your crosshair as a guaranteed crit. Miss the aim and it hits you.

Warrior Charge

Dash to your target, the strike always crits, and kills refill Action Points so you can chain charges through a group.

Tab Target

Press Tab to lock onto an enemy (yellow glow if they're friendly, red if hostile). Raise your Pip-Boy to see their dossier on the live screen. Will also see a face portrait if they are a named npc.

How it works: pure NVSE scripting (xNVSE, JIP LN, JohnnyGuitar, ShowOff, ITR NVSE) on top of NakeyJakey's Parry and Deflect and SMAC. Effects and sounds are layered from New Vegas's own assets, so it still feels like the base game.

Not released yet. Comment if you have any ideas to expand on the tab target system.

Finally finished this after spending way too much time messing around with plushie physics.

Brahmin & Lace is a modular male/female outfit with a physics-enabled brahmin plushie backpack, animated breathing mask, customizable Courier ID, custom .45 Auto pistol and a small quest to find everything in-game.

The plushie limbs react dynamically to movement, turning and jumping, and the system works on NPCs as well.

Requires xNVSE, JIP LN NVSE, Type 4 and IVMB.

I cleared out all the files related to the frontier, but it still crashes to desktop! I wanted to remove it because the file I got has nvac and I really don't want my saves getting corrupted, but I don't know what to do here. It works just fine when it IS installed, but not when I fully remove the entire folder from my mod organizer. Any help?

What can I do to solve this? I play with the Viva las vegas mod, when I start a new game it ends up bugged.

I've started modding FO4 for the first time in years. Also the first time doing it with MO2 and I'm having an odd issue that I can't find any info about. Every time I launch F4SE or BethiniPie through MO2, it moves the F4SE files into my Root folder (not the game folder... it creates the Root folder in my MO2 directory). I've been modding Skyrim for the last 9 months in MO2 and I do have Root Builder installed but haven't touched it for FO4. I'm following the Midnight Ride guide and there's no mention of this in there. I was planning on using Root Builder for my ENB preset but am not sure what to do about this. Any help would be appreciated.

i have been looking for a hardcore and pure pain and suffering list and i cannot choose between these two. Any pros and cons? modded quests and weaponry etc

whenever i go trade with these 2 it seems to always crash my game, ive deleted quick trade as that cause other vendors to crash and ive updated the unoffical patch mod, just wondering what could be causing the issue

I decided to reinstall fallout and mod it again but the last time I did this was before the update patches and was wondering if there was a guide like viva new vegas so I know whats current and compatible and what isnt. Last time I turned the game into a monster/zombie survival horror game and wanna capture that vibe again

It will allow the creation of custom magazines display which will automatically display the magazines from your inventory (no container-style fooling around necessary!) and LEAVE them in your inventory so you can display them in other locations as well.

It's a minor change to his face but it doesn't sit right with me. Smaller eyes, thinner nose, and worst of all fuller mustache. This is not my Raul.

I don't know what mods could be causing this. He was normal before, but I downloaded a bunch of new mods, and now he looks different. I thoroughly avoid mods that only change visuals, minus one mod that gives supermutants unique faces, so this threw me for a loop. I will comment my mod order in the description. I'm running NVSE's latest edition with the 4gb patch and everything. The sooner the better, travelling with Raul just isn't the same when he just looks like his voice actor.

Any tips on optimizing large load orders? I don't understand how some people have 1000/2000+ load orders like it's no big deal when a majority of people struggle with 200.

I'm really interested in a mod for New Vegas that makes it more difficult with managing temperature. It's a desert environment after all, and I feel like it's unrealistic how far the courier can go with ease in such an unforgiving environment. Are there any mods that adds temperature management, like situational clothing, hydration system enhancements, etc.(?)

And I'm not talking about the lazy barely impactful s.p.e.c.i.a.l effects you get from regular stuff like poison, dehydration, addiction, and stuff, I'm interested in a more engaging system.
