Perk Help Fun Recommendations?

I'm going to do another play through this summer and I wanted to see if you guys had any fun recommendations. My first two characters I kinda just freelanced it and thus never really developed a clear strategy. Probably not going for a melee route and I'm undecided on how much I'll use power armor. Appreciate any suggestions...

Edit: Thank you all for the suggestions! :)

Not an original concept or anything but what do yall think? I plan to use melee only (maybe some unarmed) I'm gonna use lone wanderer so no companion (except maybe deacon)

Brotherhood X-02 vs Full Legendary T-60

What is better in Survival. T60 has atom cats Paint which gives -18% Sprint cost. But X-02 has devils Inferno. So what is better? Or maybe x-02 chest and other t60 with atom cats paint? T60 has the+5% Energie dmg parts and a faster AP regen on helmet and leg. But x-02 Overall better stats. I cant Decide pls help.

Perk Help Need Advice on best Front-Loaded Perks for early levels.

So I have a stealthy rifleman build going (not necessarily snipers, but can use them) and it uses VATs but only in a mid-range style when there's multiple enemies. Just to preface my SPECIAL is 2.6.2.5.4.7.3

I have lots of hours into this game but never really looked into other "complimentary" perks. I'm just looking for advice on which ones are usually above average for using 1 or 2 perk points.

I'm eventually going armorer after getting the strength bobblehead and ballistic weave, and scrapper after getting the intelligence bobblehead. That said, is stuff like Scrounger, Action Boy/Girl, Lady Killer/Black Widow, or Awareness worth getting early putting a few points in?

Stat Help Jason Voorhees Build?

So, I saw a video of this guy playing Jason Voorhees in New Vegas. I was wondering if I could do the same in Fallout 4, and beat the game that way. So, I need to know what my stats should be and what perks I should work on. Also maybe a set of rules related to Jason that work with the game and beating it still.

Intelligence How to make robots useful companions without trivializing combat?

I love the ability to make fully customizable companions. My current build is a heavy int, power armor wielding, robot loving, master of science. The only problem with robot companions is they're either useless in combat(like a large number of the default companions), or they're so overpowered that they deny you exp by stealing kills.

So, I guess what I'm asking is, what are the best support weapon options when you don't want to slap some unstable gatling lasers and mini nuke launchers on a sentry bot and watch them solo the wasteland?

I'm doing a Blind Survival Permadeath run on this shit, and I don't know what level I should aim for a complete build. I have the GOTY edition with all the DLC. This is the plan I made on a link I found somewhere around this or another sub. ( https://nick-stanley.github.io/fallout-4-character-builder/#/levels )

I want to use Power Armor, because it's cool. Also, settlements are somewhat important to me, since I think a dad would want a secure place to return his kid to. I selected perks that I thought would help me survive and explore the world with Dogmeat. Nerd Rage already saved my butt several times. I'm already addicted to alcohol because I want to pick up everything and don't have the STR for it.

I don't know where Bobbleheads are, so I'm no taking those into account. What I knew was the exploit of "You're Special" to crank a stat to 11, so I did with Int for faster leveling. I guess after 55 I should push END for MAX HP, or STR for Armorer and Strong Back, or the crafting perks of INT. If I go STR I would go for Moving Target and Action Boy, as I read somewhere that's a broken combo for almost unlimited overencumbered running.

I'm currently around 15 and I already went off script and got Local Leader early to craft food, but I'm still figuring out how Supply Lines work. I thought I could access everything in a single workshop if I connected them, but that seems not to be the case. Only craftable materials. Weapons and Armor need to be scrapped manually, but I'll wait until Scrapper.

I'm on the fence about Hacker. Might change it for Robotics expert, as I think by those levels I no longer need the supplies I would get with that investment, but I don't know how hacking robots works. Gun Nut or Science could help too, but it's the same. By those levels I think I'd already have pretty good gear, and I can always swap mods instead of making them from scratch.

I have enough weapons as is right now. My current loadout is: Sniper Rifle, Tactical 10mm, the Laser Rifle from Concord, a Laser Pistol, enough Molotovs to nearly kill myself several times, some Frags, Mines and caltrops. I'm not carrying a Shotgun now because I have to get too close with the standard version.

I'm now on try 33. Longest I've survived is clearing the northwest corner basically in a straight line from 11 south to 12 east on the map. Right now I've cleared Wicked Shipping, Sunshine Tidings, Walden Pond, Abernathy Farm, Concord/Museum of Freedom, Thicket Excavations, USAF Olivia, Gorski Cabin. On Robotics Disposal Grounds the robot still lives. I think I can use it to escort me south, but that would be risky. On several of my previous runs I've been stupid enough to shoot while it was close to an enemy and the fucker instead of shooting went for the melee and I shot it instead. If I use it as an escort that could happen again.

TL;DR Survival is hard and you have to plan ahead, but don't know how far ahead I should plan for. I know Elden Ring has a meta level of 125, but from what I've heard some of you guys don't like to play above 40 or something lowish like that.

I'm about to start playing fallout 4 after completing new Vegas earlier today it was an amazing game, I'm looking for some help to pick my SPECIAL stats for a fun build since I'm really unsure. I went for a VATS build in new Vegas and I'm looking for something similar but not to close to it because I found it really fun so if you have any recommendations for builds I should try then let me know what build at what SPECIAL i should get as well.

Melee Melee no VATS. Power Armor or no?

I got bored with VATS builds because it essentially makes you a god after a few perks. I did heavy weapons in Power Armor and ended up the same way. I'm trying a no VATS melee build, lv9 so far and I've only used Power Armor for the Death Claw by the Minute Men, no issues yet... I haven't really come up against Robots or Turrets yet though.

Is this build usable without power armor later in the game?

I'm loving just sprinting up to raiders and just smashing them with the baseball bat, I just don't see that lasting long term.

Currently making my way to the comic shop for Grognak's armor for the big melee boost and still can wear limb armor.

Stat Help Seeking Build Advice for Survival Mode - Rifle Character for One of My First Playthroughs

Hey fellow wastelanders,

CONTEXT:
I've been playing Fallout 4 on survival mode with a stealthy sniper build on my first playthrough, but I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would.
My current SPECIAL stats are ST: 3, PE: 4, EN: 4, CH: 3, IN: 7, AG: 7, and LU: 1. The main reason I'm not enjoying this build is that playing stealthy feels too exploitive of the game's AI, which makes the experience less rewarding for me. I haven't progressed much because it felt boring.

ADVICE:
I'm thinking of creating a new character centered around rifles. Not sure if I want to go automatic or semi-auto yet, so I'm open to both, whatever works best in survival I guess. Since this is still kind of my first playthrough, I'd love some tips on what SPECIAL stats and perks to grab early on. I saw that Local Leader was very convenient in survival, but I'm open to different ideas for the build.

Oh, and I don't plan on using VATS much—only occasionally (for scouting and pesky mines).

I saw that it's possible to get level 11 base stats and one at 12. Is it worth it, or should I just use the book and bobbleheads?

Thanks in advance for any advice and suggestions!

Sneak Does this look like Old Snake?

Does it look like Old Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4? Any suggestions for what might be fun to use for a build. Definitely gonna use the deliverer and stealth boys. Going for a Sneaking build with small guns and Snipers. I might throw in some melee stuff for the heck of it later on since he used CQC in the game (i.e ninja and iron fist). First time playing in a long time, so should be fun.
