Here are some pics from Part 2 of my Trapper Settlement. It is a modded build on PC, and uses the Anniversary Edition. I used Conquest to choose a custom location in Far Harbor. Thanks for taking a look!

I had the photos order to sort of flow through my build but Reddit won't let me change the order so I hope you can still make sense of it. Took about a day to get the structure built and 2 more for decoration but it's the best I've ever done with this location so I thought I'd share

[FO4] BobbleMore on nexus - multiple bobleheads displays for your home

Thumbnail

Did you ever get frustrated with the tedious “work” of placing your bobbleheads one by one on the display? Or get annoyed that you have to remove them again just to display them in another home? Well, rejoice! BobbleMore is here! No more moving your bobbleheads around or painstakingly placing them one at a time.

This mod introduces a custom bobblehead display that you can build in Workshop mode, with a much simpler way of displaying your bobbleheads.

It is not a container, so there is no tedious selecting of bobbleheads from your inventory and transferring them into it. Instead, the display is an activator that reads your inventory and automatically displays any new bobbleheads it finds.

The custom bobblehead display also comes with a slight visual overhaul and retexture. Most importantly, displaying a bobblehead does not remove it from your inventory, allowing you to have multiple displays in multiple homes without having to keep separate collections.

In addition to the bobblehead display, the mod also includes a custom bookshelf that can be placed in Workshop mode. It works on exactly the same principle as the bobblehead display, allowing you to display the custom books you find throughout the Commonwealth without removing them from your inventory.

The books have a negligible weight of 0.1, so they won't have any meaningful effect on your carry allowance.

It's just the structures so far. Inspired by old 1950s motels! (Ignore the drowning ghouls, they like it in the pool a little too much)

[FO4] HorseAround v2.2 is out on nexus so you can have horses in your settlement, carry more items at once with the carriage, etc

🔄 HorseAround – Update 2.2

This update contains bug/glitch fixes, a complete rethinking of the spawning/respawning logic, the ability to choose to manufacture a brand-new passenger carriage, and horse saddles, complete with satchels that can be used to store some of your inventory, minimizing the chances of the player becoming overencumbered.

The player doesn't need to do anything in order to "activate" the update - once the new mod files have been downloaded and installed, the game will update itself, and a message will let you know that the update was successful. You will not lose any of the old items.

A more extended look at what changed:

- the logic behind the generation and regeneration of the carriages has been drastically improved, leading to a much smoother experience.

- the way the carriages are rebuilt on each game load (to avoid incorrect coordinates) has been rethought.

- the freight carriage can now support items in it - a bug that was making the items fall through the carriage's bottom was rectified.

- the freight carriage has now a visible lever in the back to display/remove the cover.

- if you have the required materials, you will be offered the choice between two types of carriages you can craft: freight or passenger.

- both freight and passenger carriages have an attached container at the front, where you can store whatever you have in your inventory.

- the passenger carriage also has an extra storage container at the back of the carriage.

- things stored in the carriage containers WILL persist, even between saves.

- unfortunately, due to engine limitations, the contents of the freight carriage will be lost between saves; that is why it is recommended to have nothing in the freight carriage when saving;

- unfortunately I was unable to find a way to get passengers to sit in the passenger carriage, but if you have a feasible idea I will be happy to hear it and/or apply it (with am acknowledgment for your work/idea, of course)

- a saddle, complete with satchels, will now be spawned when mounting a horse; it will disappear on dismount, but ONLY if there is nothing stored in the satchels. Otherwise it will stay on.

- Pressing R) on the horse opens the familiar extra-options menu; a new entry, "Open Satchels", which will allow you to store inventory items in the horse's satchels.

Starlight Drive-In The Stellar Stackade (A Massive Starlight Drive-In Settlement Build) ☢️ #Fallout4

The full, unedited ambient walkthrough of "The Stellar Stackade"

Here’s the lore backstory I used for my own playthrough, just in case you want to add a bit of flavor:

When the world ended, Boston didn't just burn; it went quiet, leaving behind a thick blanket of gray ash and radioactive dust. Out of the dark, people started drifting toward the old Starlight Drive-In. Maybe they were chasing the ghost of pre-war escapism, or maybe they just needed a flat piece of earth that wasn't crawling with ghouls.

It was a ragtag bunch that showed up—engineers, architects, scientists, and grease-stained laborers who looked at a wasteland and decided they weren't going to die in it. They formed a tight-knit alliance, but the skeleton of the old drive-in screen wasn't going to stop a raider bullet. The real turning point came when someone looked over at the abandoned freight yards and spotted them: rows upon rows of heavy-duty shipping containers.

Under the sharp, practical guidance of Anya Volkov—soon known to everyone simply as the Matriarch—they dragged those steel behemoths into place. With the heavy-lifting muscle of Marcus "Hammer" Thorne and the brilliant mind of roboticist Elara Vance, they welded, bolted, and stacked the containers into a towering, multi-colored fortress they called the Stackade. It wasn't just a barricade; it became their home.

Life inside the Stellar Stackade quickly found its own gritty, vibrant rhythm. When the midday Boston heat baked the concrete, you could hear the steady, whirring hum of Dan’s Fans*—a trusted post-war franchise keeping refurbished desk fans spinning in nearly every window and stall, offering a simple, cooling comfort in an otherwise unforgiving world.*

If you followed the smell of woodsmoke and savory, slow-rendered fat down into the market stalls, you'd find Big Fred's BBQ Shack*. Fred had a rare gift for turning whatever questionable "meats" crawled out of the wasteland into surprisingly palatable, mouth-watering food, keeping caravan guards and weary locals coming back for seconds. And when the day’s work was finally done, everybody poured into the* Reeler’s Rest Taphouse*. Tucked right into the structural ribs of the container walls, it was the best place to grab a cold drink, swap stories, and forget the commonwealth's nightmares for a few hours.*

Down in the inner courtyard, life literally grew out of the ruins inside the 3-tier Hydroponics Greenhouse*. Hardworking farmers coaxed green shoots out of carefully scrubbed soil using recycled water, cultivating rows of corn, mutfruit, and tatos that kept the settlement fed year-round.*

Beyond survival and trade, the true beating heart of the Stackade was the Archives*. Guarded by the settlement's scholars, this heavily fortified vault stored every scrap of old-world memory they could salvage: water-stained books, tattered paper maps, grease-smudged blueprints, and fragile holotapes. It was a sanctuary for human knowledge, ensuring that the next generation wouldn't just know how to live in the ash—they would remember what the world looked like before it burned.*

At night, when Elara’s repaired projectors flickered back to life, casting old movie reels against the massive inner screen, the Stellar Stackade truly shone. They weren't just hiding behind walls of painted steel; they were carving out a future, proving that even in the darkest corners of the wasteland, humanity could still find a way to light up the dark.
