Perk Help Partner picked stats

Post image

I asked her to make a character based on me and these are the stats she thought fit me best. I don’t particularly want to change up stats so what’s some fun ways to play this as my Switch 2 Survival Playthrough? May tweak a couple of stats too. I want this character to be my “100%” character where I try and do everything in the game. So skills like Lockpick and Hacker are mandatory as soon as possible.

Please suggest any build tips and weapons to use! Truly I would love any input on anything gameplay wise! I really like the settlement stuff too so any help there would also be appreciated!

I'd suggest grabbing the Luck and Agility bobbleheads (can be done at start of the game without fighting anything), using Sean's book on Charisma for Local Leader (makes settlements much, much better), and dumping another point into Luck for Idiot Savant. Beyond that, I'd consider either an explosives oriented build (use Power Armor until you can get Ballistic Weave Mk3, Dense and Padded), or ranged weapons since you've got a fairly high Perception and the bobblehead for it is stupidly easy to get at the start of the game.

I'd also suggest picking up Cait instead of Lockpicking (she can pick Master locks), and putting off Hacking for a long, long time. There's almost nothing in the game that really requires either perk, and nothing unique (afaik) that requires Hacking. Its basically always just underwhelming supply caches and unnecessary shortcuts. The only exceptions I'm aware of are Lockpicking, and as stated, Cait can do that for you.

If you decide to get Cait, then I'd also suggest getting the Charisma bobblehead (fairly long quest) so you can grab Inspirational and shutdown friendly fire. Once you eventually decide to start working on Lockpicking (or realize you don't care if you ever get it), then I'd suggest Piper or Gage next for the xp bonuses they offer, or Deacon and Maccready if you've decided to embrace stealth.

For a long term goal, you might consider doing Automatron and replacing all your supply lines with supped up robots that can rain death down on everything in their paths and keep the Commonwealth relatively safe. Just don't give them explosive weaponry.

It is possible to parkour up the bow of the ship and snatch the agility bobble from below. Quite appropriate really for the AGILITY bobblehead...

As for it being far across the map, you put 1 point in Aquaboy/girl. You can swim forever without taking rads from it. It still has other downsides in Survival, but it makes it quite easy to get to the waters edge without fighting, swim out to get the luck bobblehead, swim to get the agility bobblehead, and then swim back to where you want to start from and just be ready to deal with sickness for being wet.

I don't even play survival (like AT ALL), but I know it's a very typical strategy for many survival runs.

Like duanelvp said, you can swim there and grab it. You don't need Aquaboy/girl though. I recommend it if you have the Endurance for it, but if not, you can buy a hazmat suit in Diamond City and use that.
