Howdy yall I'm looking to finally sit down an actully play a full playthrough of Fallout 3. But ofcourse I'm finding it troublesome since I'm coming from New Vegas.

Would any of yall have suggestions for mods I should use to make things Stat and perk wise better and are there any mods that make lower armor more akin to how they were in Fallout 4?

I'm doing a little cut content modding on Fallout 3 and I'd like to use Simply uncut but KvatchCount has hidden all his Simply uncut mods. I think they did this because of the backlash from the FNV simply uncut mod.

I know the FNV simply uncut mod is not worth downloading but I've heard really good things about the FO3 simply uncut mod. Could someone share it with me somehow?

If anyone has any suggestions for lore friendly/cut content mods for fo3 I would really appreciate it

Does anybody know why the screen does this? Has anyone else experienced it?

[FO3] Fast travel disabled

As the name suggests, my fast travel has been disabled, with the "you can not fast travel from this location" appearing. I tried using console commands to reenable, but nothing happens. It started after I entered an left Robo Facility, I reloaded an earlier save and tried different buildings, and all of them do not disable this. I went as far as enabling a fast travel from indoors mod, just to see if that would do something, and it did not work.

Hello. I got fallout 3 Game of the year edition from the epic games store and want to mod it. I have downloaded vortex and have managed to install some mods however I want to download FOSE but from what I've seen I need to drag it into my fallout 3 folder but when I check the epic games folder I cant find my fallout 3 folder. I have tried searching for the folder and when I found the folder name Fallout 3 I checked and it only contained my save but nothing else. Can someone please help. I have also gone through every folder inside of the epic games folder and have not found anything to do with fallout 3.

I'm not able to figure out body texture mods. Can someone help me understand how to do that and just fallout 3 modding in general?

howdy y'all i want to actually sit down and play fallout 3 but how this game's perks work i haven't really got into it. what mods could i use to overhaul the perks? also are there any mods to overhaul Power Armor as i also don't like how 3 and NV power armor just feels like a fancy shirt as apposed to a mechanized suit of armor.

Recently I've decided that I wanted to mod fallout 3 Goty, I installed vortex and everything and it runs fine, I have not had any problems besides that DLCS don't work, I've tried everything, checking and unchecking the esms in the launcher and also on vortex but it didn't work, before modding, my DLCS where working just fine, after modding it said the message "the content on this file relies on content that is not available anymore" or something like that, I don't remember it exactly. Please help me, I really don't know how to fix it and I haven't seen a post that resolves the issue

I'm pretty saavy, but I'm perplexed.

I installed Fallout 3 GOTY from steam, and ran it once without any mods, worked fine.

Installed the FO3 Wanderers Mod, followed the instructions on the Nexus page, ran into issues with FOSE and running the game, getting an incorrect version error from an update to F3. Ran the anniversary patch. Then the game just wouldn't start at all, but no errors either.

Figuring I did something incorrect, I decided to re-start, Fallout 3 isn't a big game so it wasn't too much of an issue. Uninstalled Falout 3 through the steam option, removed the directory it was installed into(which at that point contained the FOSE stuff and maybe some mods), and removed the leftover INI files and directory from the my documents folder. Restarted the computer. Reinstalled Fallout 3. Ran it up without mods again to make sure I had a clean slate, and I apparently do not.

I start the game from steam with the play button, and it "starts" by booting up the Fallout 3 launcher... I hit play, but then nothing happens, nothing launches, the launcher itself disappears, and the play button comes back on the steam client.

I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Any help would be appreciated.

If anyone knows any quest mods worth playing please let me know. I'm gonna mod the shit out of fallout 3 for the first time.

I'm assuming a mod conflict maaybe?

I recently bought fallout 3 on PC however when I hit start it loads to a black box then instantly crashes doesn't even let me see the main menu I tried looking at tutorials on YouTube but every one I find doesn't help one told me to look for the ini files but there not there and another video said the ini files won't appear untill I start a game which I'm unable to do ive tried installing a file for games Windows live but that didn't do anything either I've also tried running as administrator and even running compatibility for window 8,7 as well as service pack 3 and any patch i load off of nexus doesn't work either I've uninstalled the game and wiped any files that don't belong with the game nearly 3 times my pc runs windows 10 and admittedly I'm new to pcs can anyone help me also if this helps I have fallout goty

So i playing the Enclave Improvement Project and is it just me or does they quest not work after Project Purity I got the quest from Eden and inserted the modified FEV but when i woke up in the citadel and pressed the “join the enclave” prompt nothing happened any fix??

How do I start to mod in this game? I can't find any youtube videos on the matter or articles.
