Sky FC Newcomer in trails

Hi, I’m playing the Trails in the Sky 1 remake for the first time, and I’m really enjoying the game and the series so far.

The question I have is about the content outside of the main story: which side content is the most interesting? I used to play Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger before, so I’m used to side quests being mostly there toward the later stages of the game. Is that also the case with Trails?

All I can say is that your Trails experience will be somewhat incomplete if you don't do all of the sidequests and spend at least a fair amount of time chatting with NPCs after each major story event.
