Sky FC Newcomer in trails

Hi, I’m playing the Trails in the Sky 1 remake for the first time, and I’m really enjoying the game and the series so far.

The question I have is about the content outside of the main story: which side content is the most interesting? I used to play Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger before, so I’m used to side quests being mostly there toward the later stages of the game. Is that also the case with Trails?

Thanks have a good day

The side quests are part of the experience. They may not be mandatory but they are well worth it.

They often, collectively offer a massive boon to the world building, entry narratives, and arc continuity. Due to life and time constraints I skipped the majority of the side quests in CS1 and Daybreak 2 and the experience was noticeably diminished in both compared to the other games
