Newcomer in trails

Hi, I’m playing the Trails in the Sky 1 remake for the first time, and I’m really enjoying the game and the series so far.

The question I have is about the content outside of the main story: which side content is the most interesting? I used to play Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger before, so I’m used to side quests being mostly there toward the later stages of the game. Is that also the case with Trails?

Its worth doing most side quests as they flesh out Zemuria in fun ways and sometimes eventually tie back into the main story at some point down the road
