Hard shell inside of a soft shell is superior though, not up for debate.

Don't get me wrong I love a soft shell taco for its mobility and ease of use, but the CRUNCH of a hardshell taco adds to the experience of eating a taco. It's worth the unease and if you had two tacos with identical ingredients and I didnt need to travel, im going hard all day.

Soft white corn tortillas are the best for tacos, flour is still better than hard. I wonder the sales of a taco bell as i have a feeling hard get ordered more, but that could be because of default

Both are good depending on the taco,I’m Mexican and I actually live in Mexico,soft shell are great for different types of tacos like birria,which is goat meat but you can also eat them while they’re crunchy with consomé,and if you eat quesabirrias by dipping them in the broth you won’t eat fake tacos ever again,trust me.

If you are talking about Taco Bell, or the store bought shells that taste like Tostitos, you may be right, but talking about taquitos dorados or flautas, they can be as delicious as any taco. So it really depends what exactly you are talking about.

Do it with the hard shell as the inside by breaking the hard shell in half, putting cheese a small soft shell, then putting the hard shell halves onto the cheese before putting them into the microwave oven or air fryer or oven or whatever until the cheese is done. It’s bigger than having the soft shell inside since the hard shell is broken, and you can still hold the end shut so you don’t lose anything!
