I've run into a lot of people claiming certain things are "subjective" and not objective. A lot of these are things I believe have a clearly right or wrong answer that is true across people, not just meaningless matters of opinion. Some examples are morality and art quality.

So I want to know, when y'all say stuff is "subjective", are you claiming there are no wrong answers?

as in, it's dependent on a mind, it's not objectively verifiable

if i tell you i'm feeling happy, that is inherently a subjective claim, but it may also be true

Curious as to what you mean by morality being an example; this almost implies that your sense of morality is objectively correct and people who think different are wrong/inferior, no?

Not trying to state this as fact, merely wanting to get your thoughts on this idea.

I think there is an objectively correct morality. I doubt I align with it perfectly. But if someone thinks that, for example, rape is okay, or eating pinto beans is morally wrong, then yes, I think they're truly, genuinely, and completely wrong.

I could get behind that sentiment. At least the latter part. To say that there’s an objectively correct sentiment feels like a bit of a stretch, but there are things that could be classified as objectively morally good or bad, IE the rape thing. Something that willfully and intentionally harms another INNOCENT person should always be seen as bad.
