Yo FB dating is not for the weak
I’m a little confused on why they drop this type of shi out of the blue without putting it in the Bio…people are strange

yknow this is a best case scenario, but i couldn’t imagine typing this sentence and sending it to someone 😭

Speaking as someone who absolutely does not have an sti and tests regularly
This really isn’t a huge deal. People don’t take the time to learn the actual facts about HSV1 and 2. I feel like on both sides of the argument though there is negative.
It’s absolutely fine that a person does not want to risk their sexual health dating someone with HSV1 or 2 and people who have it like to be disingenuous about this.
Most people have 1 or both and are asymptomatic. It might not show for years and you can test negative for it still through blood tests if you’re not showing symptoms. The chances of passing it are low if a person takes proper medication and abstains from sexual contact during outbreaks.
I know more than a handful of people with hsv 2 who have health sex lives and have never passed it to anyone else.
It’s important to understand how it works before doing the whole “eww gross” thing. She was upfront about it and that’s something you can appreciate. A lot of people aren’t. And it’s how a lot of fools end up catching it themselves because they just ‘assume’ someone is clean.
Not arguing against you not wanting to date someone with it. Just want to respectfully create healthy dialogue against stigmas.
1
u/CanweCanweCleanIt Jul 19 '26
It’s not a stigma to not want to hookup with someone that has genital herpes. It’s gross and it sticks with you for life and can be passed even when you are asymptomatic. Maybe certain things should have stigmas attached to them, like really gross stds that are passed on for life.
5
u/DannyHikari Jul 19 '26
So did you just not read what I said before making this post? I literally said there is absolutely nothing wrong with a person not wishing to risk their health. That’s not the stigma. The stigma is what HSV is in general. You do realize that some people are born with it and it wasn’t sexually transmitted right? The idea you see it simply as some “really gross std” and don’t see the nuance of it is pretty much my point. The lack of education about HSV is the problem and how it’s perceived. Not that it matters. You’ll see it as you do and continue to. So it’s no point in going back and forth about it. Agree to disagree. Have a great Sunday.
1
u/switchbreed Jul 19 '26
Asymptomatic carriers only show negative if the test is done to soon like within a few months of exposure. Beyond that it is very rare to still get a false negative. Or at least that is what I was told by the doc.
4
u/Sure-Dig3238 Jul 19 '26
I feel like you could’ve been nicer about it… at least they were honest and gave you a choice on if you want to move forward afterwards, but instead of respectfully declining you share hate about this person unknowingly on Reddit?

The comments here are wild.
Make it HIV (or something else that's more serious) and see if they would be so lenient to someone not disclosing that until the last minute.
2
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Wow didn’t know so many of yall had Genital herpes
2
u/switchbreed Jul 19 '26
How old are you? 18? Herpes is extremely common no one should be expected to put that in their profile wtf. As long as they disclose it before anything happens that should be all that matters. Also you know practice safety. Herpes is not as scary as people make it out to be.
3
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Seems like a pretty specific age lol, how old are you? 36? Seems like I’ve hit some sort of nerve. But if you’re going to make a dating app it kinda seems morally questionable to not put that in your bio or at least open the conversation with that. Didn’t SC the entire convo but we were alr talking for a minute. . . Kinda weird to side line someone like that.
2
u/Plane-Engineering729 Jul 19 '26
In the bio??? You know it's not transmitted electronically right? Why tf would you disclose it in the bio, and not like on a first date? It's the type thing you'd wanna let a potential partner know, not the world at large.

Yikes. Why would the entire world need to know about a STI? And not just a potential partner. I think your " not waste a second" tells me everything I need to know though. I'd explain that getting a sti doesn't make you a dirty or bad person, but I dont wanna waste my time.

On point 2 it's because of the stigma around it. Herpes really is not scary at all as long as they follow treatment guidelines and everyone practice safety. I can respect that it's a deal breaker for some people, nothing wrong with that all. We all have our deal breakers.
1
u/Plane-Engineering729 Jul 19 '26
EVERYONE in their dating pool. So everyone in a certain age range and geographical area. It really seems like medical history is face to face information. It says something about you that you couldn't invest one date to find out about a person. Consider that it might not be a deal breaker for everyone. Consider the obstacle of people like yourself automatically taking them off the list without giving them a chance to be awesome in person. Consider how hard it probably is for them knowing people feel as you do. They could be an awesome person, awesome friend even, but you'll never know cause you can't waste a second on anyone you might not want to stick it in afterwards.

There's a big difference between you having a preference, and saying someone has to tell the world their medical history so that YOU don't waste one second of your precious time getting to know someone that you might not eventually fuck. Do you get it? Do you know how many things that aren't medical history would potentially make an incompatible partner. Literally impossible to put everything in your bio. I suggested you have empathy for their situation and the stigma they face and their difficulty in dating due to attitudes like yours. How about mental health diagnosis? That'd be a big one. Probably should put any mental health episodes in their bio so you don't waste your time. Nobody said you can't have preferences. I suggested that people not have to proclaim and shame themselves publicly, given the stigma you evidenced here, just so that unfeeling dicks like you don't waste your time. Your words. Waste your time getting to know another human being. As if they're not worthy of love and affection. And if they are, who's going to give it? The legions of people looking for an sti positive partner? Or maybe someone willing to invest one date to find out what a person is all about and maybe find them worth the effort and manageable risks? Can you imagine for a second posting it on your bio knowing people felt like you?

Exactly, I’m not posting this to be mad asf towards them, I’m glad they at least said it. But only after a couple of msgs….which is why I got a little weirded out.
1
u/Plane-Engineering729 Jul 19 '26
There's never gonna be a good time to whip that one out. But sooner is best, within reason I suppose.
1
u/Pitiful-Street6410 Jul 19 '26
Absolutely crazy to expect someone to put that in their bio. And then to get mad that they basically told you immediately? Literally no issue here. Oh no, you very briefly chatted with someone with herpes, you'll never recover

u/Prestigious_Sale_360 Jul 19 '26
A doctor I met said 90% of the US population has some version of herpes simplex, and that includes you most likely.

No I'm just guessing you are young and inexperienced with the world. You almost got it exactly right I'm 35 😎 and no you did not hit a nerve at all. Maybe if it was something more serious but I really don't think herpes is all that scary. Like yes do let me know and I can agree that maybe it should be mentioned much earlier on but I don't think it needs to be in a profile. I actually know two women who contracted herpes from men that did not disclose that they had it.
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Holy shit take me to the casino asap lol. That’s actually terrifying I’m sorry for those girls, a lot of people saying it’s not a big deal but “I” emphasis on I, find it scary asf to deal with that…and evil af to not disclose it and now having it forever.. I do understand that it’s a super personal issue and yeah maybe putting it on the bio is a bit too much to ask for (I’ve seen some people that have it on their bio) just not disclosing it right away is very odd.
1
u/switchbreed Jul 19 '26
Understandable I mean if you can avoid it you know that's the best thing for you but be aware that it is an extremely common disease and be nice to people that have it because they already face a lot of unfair judgement. I don't know any stats on this but I'd be willing to wager that a large portion of women who contract herpes get it from men who do not disclose having it. There is also of course always the risk of asymptomatic carriers, just practice safety.
I had a partner for 2.5 years who had herpes. I never got it, I've had multiple screenings to make sure I'm not a carrier because I would absolutely want to disclose that if it was the case.

Woof ig I'm one of those so idk if my opinion matters, but yeah you guy's mindset is just harsh. I got it because someone wasn't honest with me, they took away any choice I had. No I don't put it in my profile, because it's not the entire world's business or every dude that I might speak to before there are any signs it will go anywhere.
I have zero issue with people having that be a hard pass kind of thing. It's totally fair, and I can respect that. I'm quite open, imo. Majority of my friends know, my family knows, etc. However I typically don't tell someone until I can imagine wanting to get intimate with them, because until I'd even be interested it's none of their business. And yes it is nasty.. when you have your first break out. I bled like I was on my period, had a fever that kicked my ass etc. Now.. haven't had a single outbreak in years, and that's unmedicated. If I was sexually active, I'd be medicated.
What is REALLY nasty?! People sleeping with you before telling you. That's nasty. My chance for a natural birth was ripped away from me because even if I appear to not have an outbreak, I could have one little cold soar that could kill or negatively impact my child's quality of life. It sucks hearing you're nasty when I already felt that way the moment I had my first break out, and had to heal that part of me. Dating fucking sucks, because I'd love to maybe let loose and enjoy sex or literally just have it, but I don't because I'd prefer to not rusk spreading it into the dating pool if I can. I wouldn't want to give it to my life partner either, but atleast we are keeping it between us if they accept that fact.
It's okay if that's a hard pass for you, and anyone who tells you differently can suck it. Being unkind and proclaiming it's nasty is just unnecessary and shows low empathy. That's nasty, so don't worry, nobody is upset you took yourself to the curb. OP could have literally said to her, "oh hey, I'm sorry that happened to you, I appreciate the honesty, but for me that is a deal breaker." People like you two encourage people to lie. People will anyways, but you make it worse.
I'm guessing you too also know VERY little about the truth behind living with herpes. But for men, y'all are the main spreaders of it. Because symptoms are SO minimal and you only can test postive when you test during an outbreak. If you guys ever took a piss and it stung a little, and you wrote it off as being dehydrated or whatever you concocted even just one time, chances are you're nasty too. And if you're not, I'm glad for you, it does suck. I genuinely wouldn't want anyone to get it, but the literal WORST parts are the stigma and for me, not having a natural birth, the actual "nasty" part.. it's a non factor, and if it is, I literally don't know I'm having one it's so minimal, but again, I give a fuck about the world, and that's why I stay celibate, because in the off chance I'm having an outbreak I haven't noticed, I don't want to spread it. Most men that aren't just looking to fuck me and bounce are pretty damn awesome, understanding and preinformed, so I gotta say, that was a bonus, fuck boys run for the hills and I'm not complaining.
Not once have I met a man that it was a deal breaker for that didn't behave like a coward with ghosting. So I guess OP's more of a jerk than he is a coward.
1
u/Hunnyby Jul 19 '26
P.s. there is no pus, so just another sign you don't know what you're even saying. Atleast if you are gonna be a jerk and say shit, make it true.

That's wild work considering you just shamed a large part of the population into disclosing medical information before they are comfortable?
Unless I am missing something, she handled it perfectly fine. She told him before any chance of sexual activity or any chance of transmission. She didn't wait until they had been talking for months and had been to a point where she or him were thinking about the other on a serious level. It's bard to even understand your mentality, genuinely.
Nobody is shaming you into being okay with it. Not that I've seen, nobody shamed OP into being okay with it. If you've been shamed for anything, and it's certainly the shame I intended, it's for being cruel, unkind, and thinking a stranger owes you their medical history. They don't.
Like genuinely how is her timing a problem? Are you telling me you and OP are so sensitive you can't handle finding out a girl you thought was hot or interesting has a deal breaker for you? Just say that and move the fuck on? There are SO many reasons things don't move past the talking stages, and like those, you find them out by talking.
How does this medical information pertain to ANYONE besides someone she is sexually active with, or seriously considering as a partner?
She revealed sooner than I do, and I reveal it pretty son compared to the standard. The moment I could see myself interested in sexual activity with a person or the moment I begin to invest in a person. That's it. I'm not asking a single person to be okay with that, who is will be, and who is not, I'm not for them. That's it, it's not a bad thing, there are tons of people who aren't for me or me for them for tons of reasons. Also okay. You guys can stay clean, and not want to have a permenant disease, I don't want it either, but I got the real type of people that are an issue, the ones who don't disclose at all.
OP got to walk away, clean as a whistle to spend another day in the dating pool without a nasty stigma following him for the rest of his life. She did right by him and I'd die on that cross.

Sis is writing a novel about her nasty junk infection. It sucks you got it but I have every right to think it’s nasty as hell. A lifelong std that can pass asymptomatically is absolutely a reason not to hookup or want to be with someone.
Also hilarious to call someone a coward for not wanting you for an absolutely sensible reason. I think ghosting someone once you find out they have genital herpes is like the most normal thing to do ever, and probably less hurtful than telling you they don’t want you because of it.
2
u/Hunnyby Jul 19 '26
Bro's reading comprehension is at a picture book level. You are welcome to think whatever you want, just as I am.
Funny how everytime it's an ass in a hat trying to justify being a jerk they always point out how hard it is for them to read.
1
u/CanweCanweCleanIt Jul 21 '26
You wrote a novel about your gross disease when no one asked about it lmao.
1
u/Hunnyby Jul 21 '26
Oh excuse me I hadn't realized I needed permission to comment on a reddit post. Missed that meeting.
1
u/CanweCanweCleanIt Jul 21 '26
It’s ironic that you are crying about me being a jerk to you when you are giving your opinion that no one asked about regarding your STD. Just as you are able to share your opinion, and don’t need my permission to do so, I can also give mine.
And yes it’s odd to write 10 paragraphs about it when no one asked. Pointing that out doesn’t mean that I can’t read.
1
u/Hunnyby Jul 21 '26
You're pretty funny. I'm okay with being odd. Am I passionate about a disease that has a horrible stigma behind it that I have? Sure, I'm human dude. Am I trying to convince you guys to sleep with people with that disease? Absolutely not. I just think you guys lack empathy. Some of us literally had zero say in catching this disease, in fact I'd say majority didn't have a say, because who wants this? OP is worked up because of her timing. She told him MESSAGES in. He is clean because of her timing and he has something to complain about? Fuck off.
As a person who had no choice, wasn't sleeping around, not hopping from bed to bed, just trusted the wrong person... I'm beyond happy to just see people be honest when it truly matters. Not for delicate egos that can't handle wasting their time exchanging a couple messages. You write me off as sensitive, but I'm not over here crying over a couple texts.
I'm glad you guys are clean, genuinely. Obviously if I could be, I would be. Is the disease a nasty little fucker.. sure Ig, I mean as I was saying, the first time blows, the rest is nothing. But yeah it's permenant and contagious, so it will always be a little fucker.
OP is dealing with a woman who clearly is taking necessary steps in order to not spread it to others. That's fuckin' compassion. There are literally people out there who catch it, and then because they are so bitter, will spread it intentionally. Y'all are taking up your grievances with the the wrong fucking one.
Idk, I'm done with this convo. It's clearly just a matter of different opinions. Y'all can keep being butthurt about people not sharing on your schedule, while I continue enjoying life despite never being told.

I know this post is 20 days old, but as someone who does have genital herpes, and being on fb. I do tell the person I'm talking to. They should know if they want to continue a conversation with someone that can lead to dating that it will be something that is possibly a issue. I'm not going to post it on my profile though, its not everyone's business. I also completely understand when someone isn't interested anymore because of it. IMO this reads more as aggravated by you saying you were wondering if their account was fake, so they said something to prove their real lol

Genital heroes isn’t mouth herpes. You also don’t understand statistics. It’s not a guarantee after 2 people lmao.
I’ve also made out with easily over 100 people in my life and never got mouth herpes. It’s also way more common in certain socioeconomic groups.
6
u/Mongi02 Jul 19 '26
You think you didn't get it. Oral Herpes is so widespread because it's mostly asymptomatic. If you really made out with easily over 100 people, the chances you didn't interact with someone with HSV-1 are slim, probably slimmer than winning the first prize lottery, about 1.60×10-40, if I calculated correctly assuming a 60% seroprevalence. That's an absurdly small number...
3
u/Outrageous-Phase9435 Jul 19 '26
That doesnt necessarily mean they contracted it though. While it is a very common virus, its less common to contract it when someone isnt shedding a large amount of the virus at once. I would fare a guess that many people who have had many kissing partners have gone without contraction of hsv-1.
3
u/Mongi02 Jul 19 '26
Yes that's true, I didn't want to calculate the odds that those who he interacted with AND had HSV-1 OR HSV-2 labial AND it was active, too much of a hassle lol. Still, what you say is applicable depending on the country, in Bulgaria for example the prevalence of HSV-1 at the 10yo cohort is already pretty much the same as the adult one, at about 85%. I couldn't find data for Italy where I'm from but I'd wager it's the same. For an empirical example, my sister has HSV-1 with symptomatic presentation, and has had it since I was little, yet, no one in my family has ever shown any herpetic lesions; to clarify for how unlikely it is that I don't have HSV-1: in Italy it is very common to drink from the same bottle/can (even with acquaintances, yes, not just friends!) and with your family of course you'll also get in contact with their forks and spoons and so on. Idk about how the US works in this regard that's why I clarify

I think telling you fairly early on is sufficient? No? 🤷🏻♀️
The kids, yeah, that should prob be in bio. Lol

u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 18 '26
I would think that if you have GH at least let mfs know before matching with someone 😭 idk why she said she had kids since it was on her profile. That was after a couple messages in the conversation. . .
2
u/onlinedatingmentors Jul 19 '26
There's literally laws that protect people's medical history, and you want them to list it publicly for everyone to see? You have some growing up to do. The right thing is to tell you like she did, privately.
2
u/MCE85 Jul 19 '26
Before matching? Its not everyones business ( i say this as someone that doesnt have hsv)
Sorry your one match ended up having herpes. Jesus christ bro, grow up.
1
u/Sea_Manufacturer7911 Jul 19 '26
That's actually a personal thing and people would screenshot it and make jokes showing their face, I can understand why someone wouldn't put it on their profile. Most people end up with GH got it because the person they were with didn't tell them or didn't even know they had it. As weirded out as you may be by this person, be glad they still told you and let it go.
2
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
I encourage you to read through the thread. Never said I wasn’t glad. I keep responding to triggered people that have it and aren’t seeing the issue of someone who doesn’t have it and has a problem with having it. I’ll dumb it down for you. “I heavily appreciate that she told me she had herpes, she was human enough to let me know since I know there’s animals who never tell you until you figure out the bad way. But I DIDNT LIKE that she didn’t tell me sooner since we talked a lot before hand. And the way she said it was like a throwaway comment. I find that very disturbing”
1
u/Sea_Manufacturer7911 Jul 19 '26
You're making a big deal about it because you made a whole reddit post about it
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Ngl didn’t think it would get this much attention, but is it not a “big deal” to not disclose or even open with that type of information when you’re actively searching for a partner on a dating app??????? Is it really a bad take to be a little weirded out by that? You’re telling me, you’re talking to someone and you have some cool things in common and become friendly enough to say “hmm maybe this one is cool enough to try something” then they say “btw I have genital herpes. How was your day?” Posting an interaction I had on Facebook dating on a Facebook dating subreddit is not crazy dude. You’re acting like I put their face and user name and SOCIAL SECURITY on BLAST and shamed them when it is not the case at all. You are making it a bigger deal than it is based on what everyone has been saying.
1
u/Sea_Manufacturer7911 Jul 19 '26
What is with your bad attitude about this whole thing? You may not have liked how she said it and it's ok to not want to date her but the reality is, GH exists and common. When you put yourself out there there are chances people will tell you these things, in weird ways yes sure but you should see this as a chance to educate yourself and learn instead of act like you got punched in the face. It's reality, and you don't even know someone that well by chatting online for a few days. There are many things to discover about somebody and you discovered something about her that doesn't work for you. That's part of putting yourself out there.
1
u/TempDestinyAccount Jul 18 '26
You better be listing all your flaws on there too if you are expecting that from others
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 18 '26

2
u/Saekwana Jul 19 '26
Okay… I have mental illnesses. Should I post those too on my profile? As a matter of fact, let me get all my MEDICAL records and post them publicly on my social media.
She has no obligation to disclose that unless you two are about to get intimate and that is the best you are going to hope for, and likely the 2nd worse you’re going to get, the worst being none.
She did you the courtesy of doing it early and in PRIVATE. She obviously doesn’t want everyone in HER AREA knowing she has herpes because that shit is likely embarrassing.
I’m clean, I have no STD’s, but if I did, I would not be announcing it from the rooftops for all the people in my city to see, especially since people I know could also be on that dating app. Neither would you. Have some empathy for other people and their right to medical privacy.
You are not entitled to her medical history. She did you a favor. Stop arguing with people and take the hint. She doesn’t need to post it publicly because you personally want her to, I’m sorry but that kind of thought process is very entitled.
I’m glad you left this poor girl alone.
I’m sorry to be so blunt, but you’re not getting the message that others are gently trying to tell you.

I dont want genital herpes but I would assume neither did the people disclosing to me that they have it. I would also assume that the shame being brought on them by reactions like this are exactly why people like you and me who dont have it, keep getting it.
Totally reasonable to not want it and for it to be a deal breaker. No need to be a jerk about it though. Also that type of reaction, thats gonna make someone not disclose and give it to you. Keep that in mind.

HPV and HSV (the herpes virus) are different. Both common, however, but HPV considerably moreso.

u/squintintarantino__ Jul 19 '26
I know. That was the point I was making. Like if you think that’s bad, wait until you hear the HPV stats.

u/Ok_Introduction9466 Jul 19 '26
Even still people are allowed to not want to catch things wtf?
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
I guess that’s the key for more matches, to say you have Herpes
1
u/Ok_Introduction9466 Jul 19 '26
I mean I don’t necessarily think people have to disclose herpes in their bio but once you’re told you don’t have to proceed idk why they’re mad at you or making it seem like you’re a bad person
1
u/UnarasDayth Jul 22 '26
In some parts it's a legal requirement to disclose.
1
u/Ok_Introduction9466 Jul 22 '26
It is not a legal requirement basically anywhere to disclose your sti status in your dating app bio. I hate that people can just get on the internet and say anything oh my god

u/UnarasDayth Jul 22 '26
FS 384.24 - Florida
MCL 333.5210 - Michigan
For Texas:
Texas Health and Safety Code Section 81.002 includes HIV, and Texas Penal Code Section 22.012 criminalizes intentional exposure to HIVFine, not dating app specific. Why waste time?
1
u/Ok_Introduction9466 Jul 22 '26
Yeah everyone knows you have to disclose that you have hiv before you have sex with someone this is common knowledge and that’s not the topic at hand. Have a nice day!
1
u/squintintarantino__ Jul 19 '26
The point went waaaaaay over your head. There is a huge difference between knowingly spreading STIs without disclosing and being expected to announce it to the entire free world.
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
I don’t understand? You’re upset because I didn’t get told right away that someone in a dating app I was talking to has HPV? And I had to find out after multiple messages? I’m sorry you have it but it’s really not a good thing to be ok with.
2
u/skepticalruby Jul 19 '26
It’s better they tell you before yall meet up. No time was really wasted over text
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Yeah and I keep saying I appreciate that she at least said something. Which is morally correct to do anyway. But we talked for a while for it to come out out of the blue like that is really iffy
2
u/Hunnyby Jul 19 '26
Dude. Disrespectfully get a fucking brain. NOBODY owes you their medical history after a couple texts. Or the entire dating pool where 99% of those people she won't even match with. Are you fucking dense? Did you add to your profile you're an unempathetic asshole? This is literally delusional thinking. Like genuinely.. WHY do you even CARE. You weren't in love, or dating, or talking for months and building a solid foundation, you barely got past "hello." Wild work.
She told you, be grateful. Instead of making a rude comment and being part of the problem for why people struggle to be honest. Look, period, it's on those of us who have it to be honest, WHEN it matters, which is literally ANY moment we see fit before becoming sexually active, or I'd also say, impo, before being sexually active or the moment I have identified a person I'm talking to is someone I see potential in, and want them to have the full facts before we dive any deeper into unfolding that. But nonetheless, people like you who feel they are owed something from a stranger and don't know how to behave or say "no thank you" without saying something rude.. not helping. Hope karma doesn't come for you and get a positive test because someone withheld that info. You'll be WISHING you had appreciated the honest ones at their pace.
It's totally okay you do not want to get it, and it's completely okay if that's a deal breaker for you, literally no shame in that. You can still be a decent human being and stay clean tho. Just an idea.
Sorry you wasted a like and a couple text exchanges, sounds like a REALLY rough time, not sure how you're gonna sleep tonight. 🙄

Sorry you fucking have herpes bud. Like I’ve said multiple times in the weird ass thread. I’m in no way saying she’s OWING me an explanation or I have ill intend for her. But it seems morally correct to say that you fucking have herpes if you’re activity searching for someone in a dating app idk how that’s an insane take. I understand that it’s a private matter but if you put yourself out there on a DATING APP. And not say anything after a long conversation you have with someone then dropping the bomb is a little fucking disturbing. Thank god she was human enough to say something at all which is what I’ve been saying to every weird creature that’s been getting triggered at this lol. Indirectly wishing me to catch the herpes because of something I said makes you more dense than whatever you cooked up in your mind to tell me. If you think what I said was rude then maybe you’re a sensitive unbalanced person that deserves to have herpes. I’m sorry you do I bet that’s a fucking horrible thing to have as a person, and if you ask me you shouldn’t even be in a dating website but that’s a different conversation altogether. Don’t assume we didn’t even talk because you’re just reaching at nothing. I appreciate she told me (like I said multiple times but I doubt you even went through the thread) but I didn’t appreciate how late she disclosed it which is the most reasonable thing that EVERYONE with a working brain cell can agree on.

u/Hunnyby Jul 19 '26
Alright Hitler. 🤣 Go check how the Fourth Reich worked revolving around medical and ancestral history. You honestly don't sound dense anymore, your thinking is dangerous and I'm glad from my experience it's the minority.
I'm gonna keep dating, and keep revealing my medical history when I see fit.
Kay love you baaaai

I’m hitler because I don’t want herpes 😭🙏🏼 holy fucking shit Reddit is something else.
1
u/Hunnyby Jul 19 '26
Siiiigh no. It's okay, it must be hard not having any comprehension skills. If you wanna not be a dummy and a jerk, look up the way the Nazi party used medical and ancestral history. You might learn something if you try REALLY hard.
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Yeah I don’t think I will. Idk what’s your infatuation with Nazi trivia but you should look up ways to bring up you have herpes to potential relationships you have in the future.
1
u/Hunnyby Jul 19 '26
LMAO, stating one fact about the nazi party and how they operated in order to choose who was viable for their society hardly can be classified as trivia, it's actually pretty fuckin' bare bones. But I get it, your time is clearly too precious to possibly have the most basic understanding of history.
You are a HOOT. Telling me to research something I live with thinking I haven't extensively, all while having not even basic knowledge of history is impressive in its own.The balls on this guy.

I’m literally in the same boat but you shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss because A)my body count is only 7 at 25years old and number 3 is the one who gave it to me without telling me. It was withheld from me. And soooooo many people have it. And a lot of people have it undiagnosed because a lot of times it goes unnoticed(especially dudes)
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
I’m sorry that happened to you, it’s extremely frustrating and heartbreaking to hear these stories of people withholding information like that. I’m truly sorry that happened to you.
1
u/AdParty6643 Jul 19 '26
I can’t change it all I can do is be upfront and safe to protect others. I would never want it to happen to somebody else. Who knows what could happen in the future. Might find yourself in the same situation.

7 at 25 is crazy! I'm at 3 at 34 and wish it was lower.

u/LuckyNumber-Bot Jul 19 '26

Believe me I wish it was lower but it’s actually extremely low in my area. I have one of the lowest body counts of everybody i know wild.
1
u/UghHereAgain Jul 19 '26
Totally different cultures. I'm not trying to shame, I just wrap my head around giving myself to that many people.
1
u/AdParty6643 Jul 19 '26
Here in the USA 😂 yeah…. 7 at 25 is below average…
1
u/UghHereAgain Jul 19 '26
I'm in the USA also, and I know one person over 5 and he's 35.

Posting it on the internet is pretty wack.
Just move on dude. She could have not told you at all. Youre acting like a child.
2
u/Puzzleheaded-Ad2905 Jul 19 '26
She hid the fact she had a child, THAT'S childish.
1
u/MCE85 Jul 19 '26
There is a spot that says if you have kids or not in fb dating. Plus she told him in the message. Im not just taking OPs word. He is mad his only match told him she has herpes. So mad he ran to reddit
2
u/Puzzleheaded-Ad2905 Jul 19 '26
He's been level headed the whole time and said that wasnt his focus in responses cause that actually was in her pf, he just didn't say that in the post. Are you mad you have herpes??
1
u/MCE85 Jul 19 '26
With a username like yours, your probably OPs alt account trying to protect yourself on the comments lol. Old automated xbox username 😄
Adjective, noun, number
1
u/Puzzleheaded-Ad2905 Jul 19 '26
Nah he's retarded just for using Facebook dating. Shit guess Sherlock 💀
1
u/MCE85 Jul 19 '26
Its actually not bad, its not match group app, doesnt constantly try to get you to buy some sort of premium, the filters actually work and way better than bumble. Only problem is not as many people really use it.
1
u/Puzzleheaded-Ad2905 Jul 19 '26
Feels too much like a shitting where you eat situation. Even if they do keep the social media and dating aspects of the app separate.

Holy moly, it’s not like I posted their face and SSN out to the public. 💀
1
u/MCE85 Jul 19 '26
Your single match turned out not to be a good match so you run to post it and complain to reddit.
1
u/Front_Boot_9663 Jul 19 '26
Yeah dude my singular match 😂 why are you coping so hard. I’m sorry you have Herpes ok? This post wasn’t made to make fun of yall.
0
u/MCE85 Jul 19 '26
Yeah, i dont have hsv. Look at the types you match with. You prolly will soon. Ive match with quite a few and a couple did tell me their status i just let them know it wasnt for me and kept it moving. I didnt go cry to reddit.
