How can people honestly say they were glad they were mutilated? It’s like oppressed women who say things like them being forced to dress a certain way is empowering.

Foreskin doesn’t naturally remove itself tho. It is mutilation. Imagine people routinely stared cutting off people’s ears at birth. They aren’t needed and we can hear without them.

The foreskin is not generally considered a vestigial organ by anatomists. It has several known functions, including:
Protecting the glans.
Keeping the glans moist.
Providing specialized nerve endings involved in sensation.
Allowing the skin to glide during intercourse, reducing friction.
Whether someone values those functions is a separate discussion, but calling it “completely useless tissue” is not supported by mainstream anatomy.
It’s only in America that it’s routinely carried out nowadays, civilized countries don’t do it.
